Raised by a convent of nuns before enlisting, the optimistic Nico desires nothing more than to make the world a happier place – even if that means raising a gun and fighting for her country. While her mental framework operates from the principles of her religious upbringing, she is never judgmental or condescending to those who don't share her faith. Having lived her entire life surrounded by religion, she often struggles to understand why some people choose not to follow God's teachings... but eventually learns about and accepts those perspectives. Nico's beaming smile puts everyone at ease; always looking at the bright side of life, she is the type of person to soldier forward no matter the odds.
Voice type: High. Young, eager and optimistic, but never overly hyper. Easily excitable when she's happy.
“He looked lonely. But also angry. And yet, so sad... (disappointed sigh) Rosetta, I've got to help him.”
(happy and excited) “Oh, there you are! Guess what, Godwin? Claude told me you're going on a recon mission soon... and I'm going with you! There's nothing we can't do, if we work together.”
“I may not know exactly how to help you, but if you feel even a little better, then I know everything was worth it.”
MUCH better audition. I can definitely tell you took my notes into consideration and I'm hearing a much better Nico in this submission. Just a few small things: 1) Is that a computer fan I hear in the background? LOL If you can reduce or eliminate this somehow, your quality will improve IMMENSELY. 2) Nico is a girl who is bound her convictions. When she is assessing Godwin's station in life when she say's "so lonely... and yet, so sad... etc", she is stating this as a firm belief. Right now, it sounds like Nico is a bit unsure... Nico always speaks with a sense of conviction, especially when it comes to her beliefs and perceptions of people. Apart from that, you're on the right track. THANK YOU for the audition!
