Role assigned to: allen the ultimate gamer

  • Background: He originally came from a household with an abusive father, which caused him and his mom to move away. Later on, Ryuji got a great opportunity for his future and to ease his mother's burden by becoming a star athlete on the school's track team. However, this earned disdain from the volleyball coach, Suguru Kamoshida, who then abused Ryuji and the entire track team. To put more salt in the wound, Kamoshida began telling everyone at Shujin about Ryuji's parents. This caused Ryuji to try and attack Kamoshida but in a manner of "self-defense" broke Ryuji's leg and caused the track team to disband. He meets Akira when Akira transfers to Shujin and when they both discover their personas while stopping Kamoshida from abusing the volleyball team.

  • Personality: known as a “problem student” at school, he’s mischievous, always ready for an adventure, short-tempered, takes offense easily, and speaks before thinking, but he’s also kind, cares deeply about his mother, and cares about others, especially if they’re hurt or being buse.

Doing some critiquing tonight and just wanted to say if you could do not as deep-sounding of voice, then your voice would sound closer to Ryuji, he is just a teenager after all. The last line shouldn't sound as harsh/hard. If you need help with the impersonation of the character, check the character reference link, or if you need context for the comic dub, it's in the description. If you would like to redo your audition, please submit it no later than 4pm Sunday Central time. If you would like to leave it the way it is, that's okay as well.
