For our Narrator, we're looking for a voice (male or female) with a mature cadence and steady tone. Even without portraying a character of your own, we hope you're able to bring a personal twist and light emotion to your reading. We want you to read with a sense of mystery, since you'll be the voice guiding the story itself, you're the one most responsible for captivating the audience.
Our flat rate of pay for this first demo chapter is $70 USD, and you will be reading around 1,900 words in total.

Lucille can’t help but give a small smile in return. She knows she couldn’t muster up the courage to tell her. She couldn’t tell anybody. If she did, she’d most certainly be shunned forever. Though, Olivia is her best friend. She would never judge her, right? Even if she is a sorry excuse for a vampire. What kind of vampire can’t drink from humans? Can’t hurt them, even? She’d been meaning to tell her father about her…dilemma, but she couldn’t even imagine how he’d react. He wouldn’t shun his daughter, would he? Maybe if she just came clean, he’d understand and maybe even help.
