I do whatever I can to try and please him, but no matter my conquests he remains unfazed. I conquer villages and armies in his name, he decides he wants to try a more peaceful approach that will cause less insurrection in the future. I go on many diplomatic meetings to other kingdoms and fortresses to gain alliances and he mocks and belittles me in front of wife! (scoffs) But it doesn’t seem to be too difficult to please him. He’s positively giddy over Sif’s adventures, no matter the fact that she hasn’t done anything better to bring more prosperity to our realm. (sighs) But I guess it shouldn’t be too surprising given the amount of time she’s spent here during my travels. She’s clearly had more time to find a connection with him, whereas I am always too far away to ever really know what he wants.
