Odin's Hall - The Audio Drama (A CBW Production)
Wyatt West for Siegfried & Lauffey
The two viking warriors listening to the old man's story of the gods.
(It's $50 per character I just lumped them both into one listing)
SIEGFRIED: (confident) Just you wait, I'll have just as many kills as you one day, Lauffey.
LAUFFEY: (scoffs) Unlikely, your father always keeps you to the boats when we go on raids.
SIEGFRIED: (defensive) Because of my impeccable skill with the bow!
LAUFFEY: (sarcasm) Oh yes, of course. How could I have forgotten so wise a skill as shooting directly into the water. (laughs)
SIEGFRIED: (pouting) You are a horse's arse!
LAUFFEY: (amused) There's no need to be sore, Siegfried. (Gestures to the OLD MAN) You are at least keeping the rest of us in good spirits.
SIEGFRIED: Wait, I’m confused about something.
LAUFFEY: (scoffs) Shocking.
SIEGFRIED: (shoots him a dirty glare before continuing) If Fenrir is indeed this great wolf, then why did he appear mortal to the Aesir?
LAUFFEY: You obviously don’t remember your grandfather’s stories about the world of the Gods as well you think. Loki was a jotun himself, yes?
SIEGFRIED: (defensive) I remember plenty! Loki was half-jotun because of his mother, the Goddess Laufey. But the jotun magicks, inherited from his father, came in handy as part of his powers of mischief. Magicks such as shapeshifting.
LAUFFEY: Then what’s to say that his son, the great wolf, didn’t inherit some of those magicks?
LAUFFEY: (fuming) Odin said he would do anything for his child, but the moment his own foolish pride was threatened he threw caution to the wind and chose his throne over his family. He caused his own consequences and—!
SIEGFRIED: Lauffey! Calm down, my friend…this is just a friendly discussion. Surely our friend here meant nothing by his statement.
LAUFFEY: (relents with a sigh) I am turning in for the night… (storms off)
SIEGFRIED: (smiles) Do not worry for him. It probably hit just a little close to home is all. Perhaps I shouldn't say this, but Lauffey was once a father (chuckle) though he certainly does not look old enough to have been one.
SIEGFRIED: Sadly...from what he's told me, he was betrayed and his son was taken from him by someone he trusted.
