CAUTION: This is the Gender-bent role of The Phantom. All male-to-female roles should be singing an octave higher than the original and all female-to-male roles should be singing an octave lower than the original if possible!
Character: The Phantom is the mysterious "opera ghost" who resides beneath the opera house. Covering her dark secret with half of a mask made out of porcelain, she tries to convince Christian to be with her by serenading him as the Angel of Music.
Range: G#3 - G#5 (Soprano)

Make sure to watch each reference video for each audition so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. However, at the same time, you don't have to mimic exactly what the performer is doing. I want to hear YOU, what YOU think the character should sound like, and how YOU perform the role!
