Bill's partner, Frank.

  • Well, Bill, I doubt you'd ever find this note cause you were too scared to ever make it to this part of town. But if for some reason you did, I want you to know I hated your guts. I grew tired of this shitty town and your set-in-your-ways attitude. I wanted more from life than this and you could never get that.

And that stupid battery you kept moaning about -- I got it. But I guess you were right. Trying to leave this town will kill me. Still better than spending another day with you.

    Good Luck, Frank

Most of the actors auditioning for this role don't realize that Bill is a closeted homosexual with a churlish disposition who was shacking up with Frank before the two of them had a falling out. The letter that Frank wrote here is an afterthought because he left without saying goodbye to Bill. This is the only audition that captures the offhandedness of Frank's departure. It's a regrettable but inevitable coming to terms with the fact that a relationship is dead in the water and needs no further investment. The casting director should seriously consider booking this guy for the role.

Hey man, you're making some bold assumptions about the other actors auditioning for this role. If you want to share your opinion, let's keep the feedback constructive. Thanks! :D

I assumed the previous comment was made in good faith since not everyone has played the game and if the information isn't included in the role description, auditioners shouldn't be slighted for not acknowledging it. I've not listened to any other auditions but if the previous comment was meant to seriously criticise them, it *is* a pretty bold assumption to make.

Great work! I really enjoyed how bitter this was. I love the moment at the beginning "Well Bill, uh..." - It felt like you were trying to find the right words which made it feel so much more natural. It took off a little too quickly for me after that. If you're willing to do another take, I'd love to hear you really consider these words. Chew on them a little more. Lmk if that doesn't make sense!
