David is a bit of a unique character. At the beginning he is incredibly suspicious and is thought to be a spy from the capital, brought in to gain information about the group and the demons. He has many scenes that it's very important that the VA be able to capture the ominous energy, as it's written to lead you into thinking he is an antagonist.
It is later revealed that he was in fact a spy but he was on their side the entire time, sending false information back. From then on he becomes one of their most trusted and important allies. He is very charismatic and has spent years serving the royal family so carries himself extremely well and is very refined and proper in his speech. He does also go through some more intensive scenes where he needs to be able to display different emotions such as panic, fear, anger and desperation. Takako is also extremely attracted to him and makes him very uncomfortable in more than one situation.

Alice... you must escape!!..... *Turns to face enemies* Now.... I will not... let a single one of you past me! *He is fighting the military all alone to try and save his friends, fighting with anger and desperation in his voice*

Thank you so much for your audition. Although your voice was very good, there is definitely something up with your audio quality. There is a whole lot of interference coming from somewhere. Looking back at your other auditions, it's always been there to some extent but between your May 3 and 9th auditions it got significantly worse. It seems like your gain is higher after that point so that may be part of what's bringing it out more. There's a couple different things my engineer thinks may be that's causing it. Its definitely electronic noise as its coloring your voice with the hiss. He recommends looking at your XLR cable first to see if there's any kinks or fraying. Second check to make sure your cable is plugged firmly into both your mic and interface, loose connections can cause interference. Third try the second preamp (second plug) on your interface to rule out the first one failing as a failing capacitor can create the same type of hiss. Hopefully this helps.
Oh, right! Sorry, I figured this out after a previous audition, but it's because of how I was rendering my projects. At one point I had to compress a file a lot because there were too many lines to fit into a small file size. I can fix the issue, but I don't think I can send it through the site. I'll need a contact.
