Heretical Tavern - DnD Skits
CWGVO for Artificer
Please view the video provided. It doesn't need to sound EXACTLY like the current Artificer but we have a bit we're building up to where he'll have Multiple Personality Disorder. This way we can switch back and forth between Voice Actors. All in all what's important is the personality, see below:
The Artificer is a walking reminder of why we have Health and Safety and also why we ignore it. Schizophrenic, a raging God Complex, and pretty much no regard for personal safety, the Artificer is more or less a fantasy Rick Sanchez from the show Rick and Morty.
For this voice we need a high amount of energy with equal parts "I don't give a shit" attitude. Again, see video posted above for examples.
"Do I look like a man who NEEDS a reason to make our streets any more dangerous than they already are?"
[You've just been asked why the hell you need to duct tape so many knives to a robot. The reason? Who needs a reason.]
"Remember viewers, Demon Lords are a lot like slimes. Which means? (Slight Pause) That's right little Tammy, an unhealthy amount of C4 will fix the problem right up and teach the neighbors to mind their own fucking business."
[Some stupid demon dared to come in while you were bulldozing your way into hell. So you casually break the fourth wall.]
[Cleric: "Why in the hell did you think that was a good idea, I mean the house is literally gone, how by all the Gods did you THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?"] - This is another character, you do not need to voice act the cleric.))
Artificer: *Improv*
[This is very important but not needed. What we want in an Artificer is an ability to take the script and follow it, but when needed add your own flare. You don't have to do this third line but giving us an improved response to this will really help us in deciding on a character. Again, not needed but it would be awesome to see where you take this.]
That last line broke me, very good job on the energy and tone!
Thanks, it looks like a super fun project. I hope I can be a part of it.
