Amaranth begins the story at 6 years old, but by the end she's about 18. I would like to keep the same actress throughout, so I'd like to see that you can convincingly play a child, as well as a teen. Amaranth is playful and a little chaotic. She mellows a bit as she gets older and settles into her role as a princess, but as a child, she's very high-energy and a little bit of a menace.
(TEEN, polite but hopeful) "May I go with you to the party? Oh, please say I can? It would be so nice to see Auntie Lynn again!"
(CHILD, curious and eager) "Do you think Queen Magdalynn will play with me?" (she gets corrected, told to call the queen Lynn because she hates her full name.) "*in a sing-song voice* Lynn, Lynn, Lynn, Lynn... will you play with her too?"
