Masumi Shimada is the Ultimate ??? and the protagonist of Danganronpa: Forever Future. At the start of Danganronpa: FF, Masumi has no memory of her ultimate talent or her school life at Hope's Future.
Masumi has a very inquisitive personality, and will stop at nothing to find the truth. She highly values her friendships with other people, as her solitary attitude makes those friendships rare, and is very loyal and caring. Masumi is neither a pessimist nor an optimist, preferring to refer to herself as a "realist," and she tries to find the best solutions to any situation she's in.
Masumi's voice should not be overly feminine nor masculine, and should rest comfortably at about an alto pitch. She's not overly emotional in her speaking patterns except when she gets into a passionate debate, as she becomes very infatuated with her argument and will do anything to prove it.
