No one’s body is ready for the true might of Nintendo Power! After Reggie retired, Miyamoto decided Reggie needed a boost from inside the company, and Bill Trinen is the perfect match. Now that these two gaming industry legends have brought their Joy-Cons together, this tournament has truly been switched on!

Well it wasn’t exactly my decision to make. Miyamoto really wanted Reggie to have a partner, he really wanted Reggie to have that true power from Nintendo. So when I was offered to go, I was hesitant at first, due to being really busy translating. However, they told me if I were to go, I would get “as much donuts as I pleased”, and so I packed my things and headed straight for the tournament!
It’s a curse, Reggie. That Yo-Kai has long-term effects, you know. I still see you dancing from time to time.
Back at Nintendo Japan, there is a safe that contains all kinds of weaponry, just in case of an emergency at the company. Lifting these Joy-Cons is not gifted to anyone, you have to be a chosen one. Someone who is so big in the company, that the soul of Nintendo itself lends you power. You have to train, work hard, and most importantly, have the power of Nintendo among you.
