[CLOSED] Fallout: New Vegas Redesigned
motpaul for Antony the Houndmaster (This is a paid role $)
Payment: $30 for the chosen audition for Antony. Unlike other roles here, this role has an entire script of 3 pages that needs to be revoiced.
These are voice signatures. I don’t necessarily want a voice-match of these characters. Rather I just want you to understand the commonality between these characters. A brutish, menacing warrior.

I don’t want him to sound like Drago from “How to Train your Dragon II.” I’m noticing 70% of the auditions are sounding very Drago-ish. I've been keeping quiet because some pull it off nicely. But would rather not have the voice that deep.
-Medium to low pitch. Some people are going too low with the voices.
-A tribal. A clan warrior. Tattoos across his face and body. Tribal tattoos. He is from a tribe of warriors

-Cunning and intelligent. Physically strong, a warrior.
-Unkind. Mean spirited. Antony took a slave girl's toy bear in an act of cruelty and gave it to his dogs.
-He is the camp's trainer of wolves and hounds. He trains them to kill people.
-No Southern accent. He speaks differently from other New Vegas citizens
-No British accent.
-Shouldn't sound like he's from the military
For now only the audition lines are needed but the role requires voicing three pages of dialogue. The entire script is here:

{Killed the mongrels in the arena} (Angry) (despair) (Sort of like you just lost a huge bet)(and lost a few friends)
…………. You……..you killed my hounds……..(shocked) (sad) (angry) (distressed) (talking to himself)...…I was certain they would end your life.
(He's keeping a girl's teddy bear just for fun)The stupid girl should know by now that even the rags on her back are a privilege. (Menacing) (He’s cruel to a little girl) (laughs cruelly) My mongrels like their new toy.
(Challenging) (Menacing) (Evil voice) (Challenging) (Menacing) (Evil voice) I’ll make you a proposition. If you can kill four of my best hounds with nothing other than this machete, I’ll give you the bear. You can’t use your armor.....and you can’t use your weapons. Only this machete. It’s only fair.
(Challenging) (Menacing) (Evil voice) Are you ready to fight my hounds?
(Challenging) (Menacing) (Evil voice) Very well. Two dogs it will be. They will tear your limbs and eat your bones. (laughs)
(Annoyed) (Defiant) (Defensive) Such bold words. (laughs) My dogs will tear you limb from limb. They will feast on your bones.
They have been blessed with the teachings of my tribe. But, if you should win they will die honorable deaths.
Lupa? Yes, she's the mother of a lot of our best dogs. She's getting old, but she's still a tough old bitch. {to Lupa}Aren't you, girl?
(Annoyed and angry) (distraught) Take the bear……I have lost some of my greatest hounds over this….child’s..toy..
I've been around dogs all my life. They're my life, always were - {pauses, thinking back, as if he's forgotten}all the way back when I was a tribal, one of the Hangdogs, outside Denver.
{Still thinking back}Dogs roamed that city. Our tribe made peace with them. We thought they were our spirit animals - helped us hunt, provided for us in some lean times.
Then the Legion came…...we fought…...most of our tribes did.
Hangdogs fought with honor. We were the last ones standing...but they broke us by throwing our dogs into the fire.Our elders couldn't bear the idea of our spirit animals burning in the afterlife.
{Rallies}Still, Caesar (Kai like sky-zahr) was impressed enough to conscript us, to use our skills with dogs to join the Legion as houndmasters.(scared) (but acting tough)
(Frightened of a name mentioned) He's a story to frighten the younger Legionaries. No one could ever survive a fall into the Grand Canyon. He does not live
Okay, so, I've made an attempt at a little more American, if you may, lol. also the comment of a clearer mic, is yet ANOTHER thing I can easily clarify, just needs borrowing from my father as he is the one with professional voice recording equipment :). again, lemme know, if you prefer the accent on this it can be further toned down deeper vocally, or made more American (I didn't want to make it sound like a caricature) I appreciate the in depth feedback you are giving by the way, :) makes auditions that little more fun too!
yeah it's good. This exemplifies what I'm looking for. Right tone. Right amount of evil. Perfect acting. And the deep voice doesn't sound artificial. that mic is troublesome though...Let me...just wait and listen to some other auditions. But yours is pretty much what I'm looking for. HAHA :D Like it! . well i'll give it one more attempt and hopefully get all the loose ends tied up tomorrow, I would head over folks and get it now, but it's 2am in the morning and somehow I don't think they would appreciate it :) . however, you are also going to end up with an irish accent take too, just because I can, and well, you had to mention atlas :D
