daiko for Various Female Roles (Diao Chan, Sun Shang Xiang, )
This audition is open for any women to audition for any of the female roles in the book. While women do serve the plot in many key instances, they do not have alot of dialogue in the book. As such, it would be most efficient for there to be one or perhaps two women to fill the roles of each woman. Some of the female roles include Diao Chan, Sun Shan Xiang, Dowager Wu (the mother of Sun Quan) and possibly a few others.
The role of Diao Chan is the most relevent to this audition as she is the most important woman in the first volume of Romance of the three kingdoms, though since the roles are rather minimal, it would be a great conveniance to just have all the voices for the next few volumes just so I have them.

(This quote is said by Diao Chan, a gentle demure women who marries Lu Bu as part of a plot to kill Dong Zhuo. This quote shows Diao Chan bassicly challenging Lu Bu's manhood and urging him to kill Dong Zhuo, so a swooning voice is better.)
What are armed men doing there today, when Liu Bei is to become my son-in-law and the pair are my son and daughter?
(This quote is said by the Dowager, Sun Quan's mother, this is her reaction to finding out that there are armed men at the marriage between her daughter and Liu Bei. The whole marriage was a plot by Sun Quan and Zhou Yu to kill Liu Bei, but dowager is really pissed about this. Note that she is in fact the mother of Sun Quan, and as such should sound old, and pissed off.)

(This is an argument between the Empress He, and the Empress Dong, like I say below, I would prefer to just have one, maybe two women to do all the female roles as they are minimal, as such, this will be a test to see how different you can make your voice, the first and second line are said by two different women to each other.)
