Seen as having a higher range, more of a soprano with a tendency to speak in her head tones. That being said, she does know when to command her chest tones.
A rebellious spirit with a fiery attitude. Lisette is a sapphic teen brought into the Dunkelheit household as the Count's newest maid and plaything, though she bares an uncanny resemblance to Charlotte. Lisette falls head over heels in love with Charlotte and vows to do whatever she can to protect her.
Her family is of Irish (mother's side) and French (father's side) decent, but she grew up in an Irish neighborhood in England. So her accent tends to sound either Irish or English.
Could arguably be seen as a lead, but is listed as supporting. She has a good amount to say. (As of this point and time, she has around 10,095 words of narration, these numbers are subject to change/go up)
Pleading and concerned - “Dammit, Hope, please! What are you so scared of? I won’t enter that room until I know!”
Angry and determined - “I swore at that moment, that if Bernice was no longer alive, I would have my revenge on him for he was most likely involved.”
Fawning over her crush - “I cherished her embrace. It was so lovely. She was so lovely. I longed for her to never stop holding me as I took in a whiff of her scent that was attaching itself to my brain. Don’t ever let go.”
I know you don't feel confident, but I actually really liked it. There was a few "odd" inflection choices, but I can't fault you too much as there is hardly any context. I think your voice is very fitting for Lisette, and I'm glad I got a chance to hear it.
I'm glad you liked it. If you prefer this voice to others then I'd be happy to do this voice if I get cast. I'm a big history nerd, especially with the Victorian Era so I'd be happy to do any voice in this.
Glad to hear! I am a history nerd as well and the Victorian era happens to be one of my favorite time periods. I only hope I can do it justice with my writing.
