The Dragon
EurasianRob for King
The King starts as a very professional figure, who feels responsible for every problem that happens in the kingdom. He's quite strict in regards to everyone, including his daughter, but always stays proper and regal. During the play, he becomes more and more aggravated with the Princess, and the fact that he's under tremendous amounts of stress begins to show itself. Finally, he admits that he's overprotective, and lets her go and fight the dragon, believing in her abilities
(interested) So, you seem to be the most eager of my knights to lead the expedition against Perryss, the dragon plaguing our lands. I’m eager to hear how you plan to defeat this beast, and how your plan differs from the common folk who have tried to embark on this mission for the reward.
(angry) Because you are the future of the kingdom! If you die, then the kingdom is gone! Everything we’ve ever worked towards is gone! Why can’t you seem to understand that you are too important to do what you want to do- you have a responsibility to uphold! It’s a lesson we all learn.
(nostalgic) I guess at some point you have to step back and see what happens. You’d say ‘It's no life being stuck inside a castle’, isn't that right?
