Project Overview
Their chances are one in a Zillion.
The year is 2387. You have been recruited as a member of the White Nuts, an elite fighting force armed with mysterious weaponry that's unlike any human creation. The Zillion weapon system represents the only hope of protecting the human colony Maris from alien Noza forces and ensuring the survival of our civilization. It takes a bold, strong, and organized team to take the Noza head on. White Nuts, assemble!
Red Photon Zillion is a sci-fi action adventure anime that ran in Japan through 1987. The show is known as the first piece of media created by Production IG (then under Tatsunoko Productions) as well as their sponsorship with SEGA to use their Light Phaser toy as the model for the Zillion gun in their series and create two games for the Master System console.
The goal with this project is to dub all 31 episodes of the original series as well as the Burning Night OVA. The first 5 episodes were dubbed in the 90s by Streamline Pictures, which are being used as a reference for our new voice cast. The script for the first episode is complete and a few choice scenes have been recorded, including new title animations and credit sequences. We're allowing auditions for almost every character at the moment. I want this project more than anything to be fun and highly interactive for the whole team. Along the way he has to face the Noza forces largely on his own, with the unexpected help of a kid named Addy. He later joins the team for the rest of the fight, and is able to harness the power of Zillion for the very first time.
