Youtube Original Animation Shorts: Double Shift

Project Overview

This is a 30 second to 1 minute estimated animation short I hope to complete in 1 month. This is to practice my animation skills and to write out a short dialogue between to coworkers at a mall I have going in my head. You're welcome to use this for any demos.

I would like the voices for the characters to be as natural and conversational as possible! I'd love to incorporate the actors natural voices and allow for improve and natural banter!

If all goes well, I may produce more of these animations, depending on how it is received.

Hello everyone~!

First and foremost I want to thank everyone who auditioned for my project. I never could have imagined that so many talented voice actors would want to be part of this project. We had a whopping total of 64 auditions! Whoa! In that case it was very difficult to select. I have decided to cast the main characters but I have a list of others who could fit for additional characters or cameos if you are interested if the animation reaches that point. I would love to let you all know once this initial “Pilot” is finished so you can see the end result.

Something I forgot to mention is that I would prefer everyone be at least 18 years old to work on the project. Although the project will be family friendly and around the PG rating, I would prefer to work with those who are at least 18. This can be used for a portfolio or demo.

With that out of the way here are the cast individuals!

ENFJ. An easygoing assistant manager at the shop who enjoys being around other people. She sports a natural/boho look and frequently gets hit on by customers. She typically fills the workday with fun stories or bizarre talking points. She struggles to make ends meet occasionally but does not let that take from her positive and fun-loving energy. She is still a responsible manager and typically does more work in the store than the general manager, much to her annoyance.


I would prefer for someone to use a voice close to your natural voice for these characters but you are welcome to try multiple takes or a creative spin. I am open to anything!
