YouTube Channel German
Project Overview
Hey!
We run multiple YouTube channels that have already generated millions of views, covering topics like Harry Potter, cartoons, Rick and Morty, animated movies, fictional worlds, characters, lore, and much more.
We're now looking for one German-speaking voice over artist who can become the recurring host across several of our channels.
This isn't just a one-off voice-over job. We're looking for someone who wants to work with us long-term and become a recognizable voice across our content.
What we need:
3+ videos per week
Videos are usually around 12–20 minutes
Ability to work across different channels and topics
Someone flexible who can handle a consistent workload long-term
Someone who actually enjoys being a host, rather than simply reading a script
The most important thing: you have to sound natural.
We're not looking for a dramatic movie-trailer voice or someone who sounds like they're reading every word from a script.
It should feel like you're talking to a friend about something you're genuinely interested in.
Whether we're talking about Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, a forgotten cartoon character, or some crazy piece of movie lore, the delivery should feel conversational, curious, and engaging.
Also:
Native/fluent German
Clear and natural pronunciation
Decent microphone and a quiet recording environment
Good communication
Able to consistently deliver several videos per week
What you get:
Long-term, steady work
Multiple channels and a wide variety of topics
Your voice becomes a recognizable part of our content
A consistent workload
Trial:
For the trial, we'll send you a short script from one of our channels.
Here's the kind of delivery we're looking for:
"Ask any Harry Potter fan and they'll tell you. The books are better.
And most of the time… they're right.
The films cut half the story and handed Ron's best lines to Hermione.
But the books made one mistake. A big one.
And it sits right at the heart of the ending."
The topic doesn't matter as much as how you sound.
If you can make a script feel like you're genuinely telling someone a story rather than reading words off a screen, we'd love to hear from you.
