This project is meant to do a cover of the Your Turn to Die musical!! We're going to cover all 22 songs available as of March 2025, and any songs that end up being released in the future. Your Turn To Die - Death Game by Musical - is a musical based on the game of similar name that covers the plot of Your Turn to Die musically. There are 22 songs currently available that go up to Mid 1-2.

Our project will be formatted in a similar way an onstage musical would be performed, except without the physical acting. We are holding auditions and helping the cast members strengthen their voices with practices! Our project will be structured in chunks, only covering a couple of songs at a time rather than doing everything in one. Due to having very few editors, doing the project in this format will make it easier overall. This is also why certain auditions aren't happening until we need the characters.
More roles will open as needed. Right now, all we need are the roles needed for batch one. (Songs 1-5)
What we are looking for:
- Actors with strong, unique vocals and a strong sense of emotion.
We truly want to hear your take on these roles, not what the original musical does. After all, this is a fan cover, and every musical is performed in its own unique way. Emotion in this musical is high and we want to hear it performed.
- No background noise.
Due to this being a musical project, your voice does need to be clearly heard with no background noise.
- 13+ Actors only.
The musical contains really intense emotions, and strong mentions of death. It covers a lot of the topics from the game in a strong way and should be noted that the actors participating in this project should be at least 13. We also communicate primarily over discord, making this age limit needed.
- Max 2 takes.
We really only need to hear one take of each line (ABC format)! However, if you'd like to provide multiple, two is the maximum we'll take, due to the length of each clip.
In your actual auditions, please do not provide more than the clips given. If you'd like to provide anything further of you singing/acting, please do so separately (as a google drive link or otherwise).

We are officially 12 hours til deadline (yes, you do get all of today!) I've gotta do a little work on my side to finalize everything, but you will hear news of the cast list at some point this week! I promise we will not leave you hanging! (unlike ranmaru did.) If we need callbacks, we will do them, but as of right now I don't see us needing them.
News of project progress and auditions will be released throughout these next few months. I would like to have batch 2 (rest of cast)'s auditions starting by late July-August, but that time frame will vary depending on progress. Thank you all for your auditions and your patience!

Hello! We are officially less than one week until the deadline! Friendly reminder to get those auditions in as we will not be accepting any auditions post the due date (unless absolutely necessary, which will be informed of day after deadline maximum.).
We're unsure if we'll do callbacks as of now, depends on where we're at with auditions a bit closer to the due date itself, but it will be announced whether or not we are or are not doing callbacks ASAP!

Our cheerful deuteragonist, described by the wiki as: "an extremely upbeat, excitable, considerate, and loyal person. He is easily embarrassed when others misinterpret him and is sensitive to how people perceive his appearance. Like Sara, Joe puts in all his efforts to help the group succeed in the puzzles. ...Though he is described as gaudy... and has a small habit of saying the wrong things at the wrong time, Joe is genuinely kind-hearted and sensitive to others' feelings."

One of Your Turn to Die's antagonists, but our main antagonist for this musical. Carefree of sorts, she's described by the wiki as: "She is sadistic and takes pleasure in making the participants suffer, such as when she mocks Kanna for inadvertently causing her sister's death. Her bloodthirsty nature as well shines through when she furthers Sara to push the button to slow the draining of Joe's blood, knowing her efforts are futile in the end."

We are looking for someone who can portray strong emotion in little amounts. Sou is a complex character who portrays a wide range of emotions both in the game, but also in his singing. This should be reflected in the way you sing. With him, a little goes a long way!
