You. Is a Minecraft short film about an unnamed girl in a room arguing with another person. She blames the other person for her crude attitudes and insecurities only to find out later on that the other person she’s talking to, is herself.
THIS WILL BE SUBMITTED TO FILM FESTIVALS AS A STUDENT SHORT FILM!

GIRL 1 is having an argument with someone. Herself. GIRL 1 and GIRL 2 share the same voice, since they are the same person. If you audition for GIRL 1 please audition for GIRL 2 as well. GIRL 1 is persistent and starts off judgey slowly getting more aggressive as the argument continues. Make it conversational, like she’s searching for what to say as she gets angrier.

GIRL 1 (judging and calm): You know you’re a bad person right?
GIRL 1 (bitterly and vulnerable): I’m not just angry for no reason. You’re the reason i’m like this! You- you PUSH me. You always know just what to say to make me feel like… like GARBAGE.
GIRL 1 (frustrated): No, no, you bring out the worst in me. You make me feel like I’m always wrong, like I’m never enough... I wasn’t always like this. I didn't wake up dreading everything. Didn’t feel like I was walking around with this… this weight.
GIRL 1 and GIRL 2 share the same voice, since they are the same person. If you audition for GIRL 2 please audition for GIRL 1 as well. GIRL 2 is sarcastic and dismissive. She has somewhat of a persuasive attitude.

GIRL 2 (snarky): Is this the part where I pretend to be surprised?
GIRL 2 (sarcastic): Yeah, no you’re right! Yeah, everything’s ALLL MY FAULT and I made you this way, I made you just the way you are, oh please! You’re not fooling anyone. You’ve been this way for a LOOOONG time.
GIRL 2 (serious and cold): You. You did this. Every time you looked at yourself and thought you weren’t enough. Every time you got angry at the world, or at yourself, I got stronger.
