My name is Aaron from Azure Moonlight Media Productions and welcome to this casting call from the first-ever comic dub entitled, "Wynd", a young adult fantasy action comic, created by the GLAAD award-winning superstars of "The Woods", Michael Dialynas (creator of ZAWA + The Belly of the Beast) and James Tynion IV (creator of Something is Killing the Children, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos, House of Slaughter, among others).
SEASON 2 SYNOPSIS
Wynd, Oakley, Thorn, and Yorik take the next step in their dangerous quest across Esseriel, but are soon attacked by a mysterious enemy. Can Wynd rise to the moment and if so, at what cost? And when Wynd is captured and taken to the Faeries hidden capital deep in the Weird Woods, his friends must rescue him before he s put on trial and Basil, Titus, and Ash unknowingly lead an even greater threat to the Faerie City - Vampyres!

Before you start auditioning, HERE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
You must be a clear voice by using a high-quality XLR microphone. USB headphones with microphone or low quality microphones are not allowed.
No background noises or filtering your voice using other audio effects.
Additional takes will be provided on your chosen role, if necessary.
Please submit your audition files (for voice actors only) in MP3 or WAV format.
Discord ID is required for those who auditioned, so keep an eye out for the upcoming casting calls at the end of this season!

(Shouting) IS ANYBODY OUT THERE? THIS CHILD IS IN DANGER IN OUR CITY...
(Grief) Tell me you didn't sneak down to the woods again... Molly, you could be thrown in a cell for the rest of your-- (Seriously) What is that you're holding there, Mol?
As he grew teenager, Wynd prepares his new adventures, new friends, and new beginnings.

(Monotone) The Bandaged Man was only one Vampyre and he almost got all of us. This is more.
(Sad) It's different when you're the person everyone is counting on. I don't want people to believe I can stop this war. Save everyone. Bring peace... Like, it's one thing just to do something because you want to do what's right. That's why I saved you and Yorik... *crying* If you guys were counting on me to do it...I don't know that I could have. Does that make sense? Or am I just a big coward?
(Curious) I thought that maybe hearing more about my parents, and where I came from... That it would make Pipetown not feel like home. But this is home.
Oakley is Wynd's sister. After the recent events, she lost her mother and now she had a father with Roderick. Months later, General Zedra cuts Oakley's hand and wearing her robotic hand on the left side. Until the end, she will become a bar maid of her dreams.
AGE: 16
(Caring) I know. And let's enjoy the most of it. But at the end of the day, it's you and me, Wynd. We're just the weird-shaped footnotes in history, and we need to keep an eye on each other.
(Angry) AND SHE DIED, WYND! SHE DIED SO YOU AND I COULD LIVE! (Calm) *sigh* I don't want to have her die for nothing. We're still in so much danger, Wynd. You have to feel that. This isn't our fight. We need to go north... We can grow up, and then we can figure out how best we can help the world.
(Sad/Serious) Stop acting like you know me. Stop acting like you have any say in my life. You might be my father, but the only real family I have left is on the other side of the world. And as long as he's in danger, I can't build anything.
Bastian is one of the famous citizens of Pipetown. He is the cousin of Prince Yorik where he can become a Duke someday and solving his problems or doing his instincts. He also had a friend name Teek.

(Proud) You'll have to give me a turn, if Yorik allows it. Let's get you into some dry clothes. We have much to discuss about our next steps...and I want to know everything about Pipetown. If I'm going to rule it one day, I want to do it right!
(Angry) You can't believe my cousin did all this! You met him! He wouldn't know how to bring down a tree if you put an axe in his hand.
(Monotone) This is just sad. This isn't helping nearly as much as I thought it would. This isn't where I want to be, Teek. You were right. I was scared. But I do want to make some kind of difference.
Teek is a pink-colored hair guy with eyeglasses along with his friend, Bastian. He loves to draw some sketches and impressive thoughts about him.

VOICE IMPRESSION(S): Jay Walker from Ninjago (Michael Adamthwaite)
(Upbeat) Yes, of course. Our ships should be aligned pretty quickly so they could walk across to us, but I know you can probably speed things up a little, huh?
(Crying) Sir... I have given up my entire life to do something good in this world, and I am ashamed that I thought you wanted the same thing. These two have just learned something important. Something that could change the world. But you don't care. You just want to be right. (Angry while crying) You can find somebody else to boss around. I am going to help these two figure out how to get Wynd back.
(Favorite) I like sketching the different kinds I see, and I trade the sketches with my friends back in Northport.
Queen Penelope is a husband of King Yossar and royal family of Pipetown. In Season 4, she find her brother and reunion each other. At the end, General Zedra killed the queen.
AGE: 60s
(Revenge) Your father put a hate in you so deep and powerful that it has twisted your mind against your family. Against your brother. Against your son. It's killing you. And it will kill us all.
(Solemn) I know I ask much of you. But we must all pray these dark days are coming to an end. Please, Basil. He's no idea how much danger he's in.
(Caring) Hush. Hush, child. Your father will die any day now. Pipetown needs its Prince to come home and get ready to ascend the throne.
Many years later, Roderick is now working alone in the floodgates after his mother's death. And until now, he will become as a waiter in the Dark Spout (Season 5).

(Solemn) Oakley! It's good to see you safe. You probably don't know who I am. Molly saw to that... But I'm your father. And I'm so glad you're alive. And I promise, I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you ever again.
(Curious) Sorry, Titus... I was just clearing the tables!

Lady Merien is a sister of Eastwood along with her former mother, Lady Gwendolyn (deceased). After the recent events when her mother died, Merien starts her adventure to meet Wynd and other friends around Pipetown and the Faerie Capital.

(Furious) My name is Merien of the Eastwood. You are one of the idiots who got my mother killed. And now you're going to pay for your crimes.
(Somber) We need to get to Northport. Strawberry surprised General Eks, but that won't work twice. We're alone up here. And Eks is coming to kill us. Even if it's not true... What's the cost? The real cost? A little white lie, and then you and Thorn can go be young lovebirds in a free city. Please, Wynd. We need this.
(Happy) It's a Faerie story. I wouldn't expect you to know it. It's the story of Esseriel, and how it came to be... Would you like me to tell it to you?

You dream of a United Esseriel, but humanity cannot unite itself. There are not even informal peace talks between the human colony in Northport and the kingdom to the South.
(Aggressive) There should be more of them, shouldn't there? Where is the Prince? The Son of the Mad King of Pipetown? (Angry) Where is the fool who unleashed this horror upon our people?!

General Zedra is the main antagonist in this series and leader of the Vampyres. She had a brother with The Bandaged Man (now deceased and resurrected in Season 5) where she had remembered in the past years. And also, she wants to find and kill Wynd and his friends.

(Introduce) King Yossar. I am General Zedra. I come bearing well wishes from the Vampyrium in Orthok, deep beneath the Western Wastes.
(Sad) You always had a stronger taste for politics, brother. You knew who to gladhand and who to bow to. I'm afraid I'm a blunter instrument than all that. But now, the Bugs will march south and lay siege to the walls of Pipetown. The war we dreamed of since our childhood will begin in earnest. We'll finally tame this strange land and make it our own. And you'll be there, right at my side. I promise you, brother. I promise you that above all else.
(Evil laughter) HA HA HA HA HA! (Maniac) Keep screaming, girl! The boy isn't here yet. I don't know what you're more hopeful for... That you'll see him flying through the winter storm, or that he'll stay far away from here.

(Aggressive) Really? I'm not so certain. I don't like what I hear rumbling across this land. We are entering a delicate moment for Esseriel. Tension is powerful. Keeping our enemies at bay is valuable. But why should I risk Vampyre lives for the sake of humankind? Think of the long game.
(Angry LOUDLY) YOU SPEAK OF OUTRAGE, ZEDRA?! (Angry) I hear you use the winged boy's blood to turn your late brother into a walking monstrosity. And that now the boy is gone. As is the prince. Our one negotiating piece of value.
