Project Overview

WHAT IS WONDERMART INC?
Wondermart Inc revolves around 4 objects, Dylan (a wrench), Carl, (a rubber duck), Brian (a potato chip), and Devon (a skull), and their daily lives working in the absurd supermarket, and with their alien, sometimes object, and not so normal coworkers. They don't have a particular role in the supermarket, but they generally just do anything their enthusiastic, oblivious, and socially inept boss, "Mr. Hubert", tells them. This often leads to absurd, surreal, and batshit insane situations that they need to solve, and fix.
HOW DO I AUDITION?
Auditioning is pretty straightforward but there is some requirements and info that needs to be known before auditioning.
AUDITION INFO
Your microphone needs to sound high quality or at least decent, so not overly distorted, not too much reverb, not have too much noise, etc. I might be able to fix it up with audio effects but it depends.
You must at the very least be 13 years old.
You need to be able to take criticism, and feedback.
You need to have an area where you can scream, and in general make loud noises, since there’s gonna be times in the show where that’s needed.
These are not paid positions.
You need to have a Discord account.
SUBMISSION INFO
Experimenting with your auditions and voices is allowed, AND encouraged! Don’t just stick with the suggestions for how a characters voice should sound, but also audition how YOU think the character would sound.
When submitting your audition file, use this format: “<Name of Character>_Audition_<Your Name>”. Example, “Mr_Hubert_Audition_jayeffirl”.
Your submission should either be in a .MP3, or .WAV audio format.
Send your audition as one MP3, or WAV file.
If you want and have one, you can also include your demo reel/voice reel/ with your audition.
Older sounding voices are preferred, so if your voice sounds way too young, you probably wont be accepted.
The dialogue in this show is usually supposed to sound more conversational and natural in a way, so keep that in mind when auditioning.
Please include your discord tag, and email with your audition.
That's basically it. If you do get accepted for a role, i will share the official discord link with you if you aren't in already, as this is one of the only ways i will be able to contact you. This is also where everything important goes, such as progress updates, and announcements.

Character Notes:
Bit of a nervous wreck sometimes, somewhat of a more reserved and introverted person, likes using sarcasm in his speech, fairly pessimistic.
Voice Notes:
Honestly any male sounding voice should work, but try to experiment with it a bit. Maybe make it sound sort of trembly when nervous.
“Devon! What did you do??”
“Look it’s a LONG story, we just need to go. Right. Now.”
Character Notes:
Bit of an opportunist, very ambitious with his goals, a good leader but can be overbearing at times.
Voice Notes:
Any male should work, maybe on the slightly higher side, and maybe a bit hyper, but experiment with it.
“You know what, let ME handle this.”
“I don’t know why are you asking me??”
Character Notes:
A bit of a nerd, Creative & Adventurous, Kind of stubborn and ignorant sometimes.
Voice Notes:
A somewhat higher, slightly nasally and nerdy male sounding voice could work.
“Ok ok ok... Let’s have some fun at BLAB AND BLASTEEERRRSSS!!”
“Wh-what’s the worst that could happen?”
Character Notes:
Kinda lazy, tries to be logical and reasonable, kind of insensitive sometimes, laid-back and chill most of the time.
Voice Notes:
Any male sounding voice should work. Maybe on the slightly deeper side, but experiment with it.
“I don’t think you should be eating that dude.”
“What the hell are you doing man?”
Character Notes:
Terrible leader, pretty bad social skills, extremely friendly and enthusiastic, very oblivious, very idealistic and ambitious.
Voice Notes:
Maybe make him sound like some radio announcer from the 30's-40's with a mid atlantic accent. Feel free to experiment though.
“Ok, uh.. here’s what you’re looking for!”
“Oh and-one more thing! You see that door on your right?”
Character Notes:
Generally pretty grumpy, extremely enthusiastic in commercials, usually a laid back and chill person though.
Voice Notes:
Any older male sounding voice should work. Maybe make him sound sort of like a news reporter or a generic commercial voice guy.
“And in a matter of seconds you can turn your dirty dishes into.. uh-NOT dirty dishes!”
“Yes YOU, for a limited time, can get ANYTHING from our supermarket for 20% percent off!”
