Layla is 17 years old at the beginning of Season 2, and 18 in Season 3. Layla is extremely opinionated and open minded. She is as intuitive as Stella, and when asked to, gives practical and pragmatic advice. She is also a talented dancer and speaks many different languages. She is strongly against romantic entanglements with boys, as seen in episode 18 of the 3rd season. This is likely because of an arranged marriage from her parents, mentioned in episode 9, but only brought up again in episode 18. The Pixies trust her very much - Layla is one of the few people who know of Pixie Village. Layla gives practical advice and always provides a shoulder to cry on. She continuously shows this caring nature throughout the show, comforting Musa after her conflict with her father, and calming Flora's nerves when she experiences qualms about her feelings for Helia. She is independent, finding that boys are not worth her time. She considers herself just as good as the specialists at sports and sword fighting and has similar interests as them. At one point, she even takes control of the Wind Riders from Riven. Despite having common interests, she is not particularly friends with them, knowing them through their girlfriends.

Stella is a 17 year-old (in season 1) blonde girl described as being the daughter of the Sun and the Moon. Though she is usually proud and self-centered, Stella cares about her friends. She will stick to her friends and do anything to keep them safe. Stella is always seen wearing a smile on her face, or cracking jokes to cheer her friends when they are depressed. Basically, Stella has a cheerful and optimistic personality. Besides that, she is totally obsessed with fashion: which clothes look best on her, and which dresses best match her face. Stella often gives fashion advice to people in Alfea, but this advice is often not taken well. She would rather flirt with the boys than study and do work which sometimes annoys the other girls. The most intuitive of all of the members, Stella likes to matchmake and has often had problems with understanding why her friends do not always like getting set up. However, despite her intuition, Stella can be rather oblivious at times. She was sent to Alfea to become a stronger fairy, but this did not mean so much to her, though she did effectively become a fully accomplished fairy and a powerful one by fighting the first three season villains with the Winx. She uses her magic for anything, but she mostly wants to help her friends as deep inside she is a generous and helpful girl. Although she might disagree with her friends, Stella is very supportive and protective and will not hesitate to help them. She learns to accept that love and friendship are far more important than royalty, fashion, and shopping. Sometimes she hides her true personality because of her upbringing.

 Musa loves music, dancing, singing, and playing all instruments, but her favorite instrument is the concert flute, the first instrument she ever learned to play. Musa usually plays amazing music but plays best when she is alone by herself in Alfea in a quiet spot. Despite being the most tomboyish of the Winx, she is perhaps the most emotionally vulnerable, and she balances this by putting up a tough front. Surprisingly (considering Tecna is the brain of the group), Musa gets the best grades of her friends, as mentioned in "Honor Above All". Her emotional weakness is the result of her mother's death, and her father is far away. She is also a bit of a loner though over time she becomes more open and closely bonded to the rest of her friends. She also loses more of her tomboyish attitudes and appearance over time. She does have a strong will and personality which unfortunately makes her clash with her boyfriend Riven.

Digit is the bonded pixie of Tecna as of season 2. They meet after the pixies are rescued by Stella, Bloom, Layla, Brandon and Sky. Tecna and Digit has an instant bond as do the other fairies and their bonded pixies. Digit is the pixie of Nanotechnology, she is logical, precise and mathematical and shows little emotion much like Tecna and that could quite possible be some of the many reasons as to why the pair are so close.

Concorda loves reading. When Dark Bloom broke into the library, Concorda scolds her. But when Bloom is her normal self Concorda was very helpful to her and tells her about bonding between pixies and Fairies. She also takes her job guarding the codex very seriously.

Zing is the Pixie of Bugs and Insects. she can shapeshift into many different characters and creatures.

Timmy loves technology, and flying ships from Red Fountain. He also has an IQ of 150, just like Tecna, and his aptitude for technology makes him the perfect boyfriend for her. He is sweet, but shy, and can even seemingly cowardly at times. He loves to be with Tecna, but he is shy and clumsy around her too. Tecna mentions that it is his sweetness and intelligence that impressed her.

In Season 2, he was so bashful that it interfered with him telling Tecna his feelings for her. It is also shown that he is quite oblivious to girls. He is the least skilled of the Specialists in terms of combat, but he makes up for it in his intellect.

As her name and powers would infer, Stormy is a loud and wild young lady who is very quick to anger and rage. Even the most minor of annoyances usually lead to Stormy violently lashing and, out of the three sisters, she is the master when it comes to holding grudges. Cases of this range from trying to settle the score from a previous battle by either attacking more violently or even disguising herself to catch the object of her vengeance off-guard.

 Griffin is the headmistress of Cloud Tower as well as a professor there, a member of the Company of Light, and a considerably powerful witch. Although she started off as somewhat of an antagonist, indirectly encouraging the Trix in their power-struggle against the Winx, Griffin was eventually revealed to be a woman of sound moral principles and aided the Winx numerous times in their fight against the forces of evil. Griffin is one of the three points of magic, the others being Faragonda and Saladin.

 Princess Amentia is the princess of Downland who tries to marry Brandon. One thing that is especially notable of her is that she is a perfectionist, wishing that everything has an absolutely perfect and flawless appearance and is in its proper place.

 He is known to have a friendly, and helpful personality as shown in "Princess Amentia," when he tried to help Stella recover from her lack of sunlight. He is also quite shy and is in love with Princess Amentia. He also is very loyal to her, and is the only person who believes that each person is linked to a crystal.
