Wintermute - A Minecraft Story

Hello and welcome to Wintermute - A story which is based in Minecraft and is inspired by The Long Dark: Wintermute, a game which makes you think "How far will you go to survive?" As I said, this is inspiration and is not a direct copy of the actual story mode, some elements may be implemented, such as gameplay features and the atmosphere within the story. I desire this to be animated live on a server with voice actors who can not just read lines that are given, but develop themselves as if they were the character. There are a range of roles that I will need, meaning that I will be accepting voice actors to help as there may be many people in this story. These are the rolls we will be offering 

Voice Actors for a range of characters - If you would like to apply for a voice actor, you will need to provide a line which I will write which relates to the character which you will be applying for. Alternatively, you can provide an unique voice line that relates to the characters description. If you do not want to apply for a character and just want to provide a line for a character who you think should be in the story, you may want to write a description of how they look and voice lines relating to them, although you can just message me these details, rather than just recording all the description then saying the voice lines. 

Writers - Although I will mainly be writing the story, I may need to start a study group with other people who want to help write the story to share my ideas with them and that they can share their ideas with them. When applying for Writer, you will be required to say why you want to be a writer and message me an extract (Part of your work) that you have wrote, alternatively, if you have not written anything, you can make something up on the spot.

Owner of a Minecraft Server - If you are able to offer a Minecraft server which we can produce this roleplay, then this would be great. On this server, you would be required to ensure that the server is stable and that we can upload a map (If necessary) Again, if something happens to the server, we would try and resolve this, by moving to another player server, also, please try and backup the world after each episode or when a major thing in the server is built as this will delay release of videos. If you would like to host the roleplay, please message me the IP of the server so that we can work on the roleplay. 

Builder - To addition of being on a Minecraft server, we would like people who are good at building a range of things, we will not be expecting you to build everything that we request, which means we will divide people into small groups who can work on different things, such as the environment and buildings that are present in the roleplay. Similarly in the game that the roleplay is about, the game is open world and connects, we would like the worlds to connect and feel as they are creating one big country, rather than one area just being in another area and not connecting. We would like to see examples of your work before you are accepted as a builder on the server

Minecraft Skin Maker - We would like skins which are tailored to the description of the characters that we will use in the roleplay, from their clothings to their actual skin, we would like this to represent the description that is given. When applying, we would like to see an example of your skin work before you are accepted as a Skin Maker.

YouTube Management - We will need someone to record the episodes, render them and then upload them for people to watch. You will need to record in /gamemode 3, while looking at different angles and be able to edit things, such as transactions and more. If you want to apply, you may give me your YouTube channel link for me to see an example of your videos that you make, which I'll watch (Doesnt matter what content it is, I just want to see if you can edit a video)

***UPDATE EPISODE 1 STORY INTRODUCTION***

An ordinary school day at (SCHOOL NAME TBA) takes a sharp turn where the principle and teachers announces a trip to Great Bear Island. They announce they have won a holiday to Great Bear Island and that they need to go tonight. Excited, the children pack up their things and head to their private helicopters at the Airport. When they start to become airborne, they see the lights in the sky...

Finally we have the rules; Please follow them or appropriate action will be taken 

Voice Actors

Please ensure that you can provide lines as soon as possible, we won't record them live, but will have them emailed to the person whos going to produce the video to then put the voices in

 If you cannot record your lines for any reason, we may have to withdraw you from the series due to this, this may be by having the character being withdrawn and coming back in a later episode.

Do not expose your lines to other people. This may be a potential spoiler due to what they may say, and therefore we may alter the Story because of this.

Everyone who auditioned will get a part (Because im nice like that) unless I have personally denied you due to not recording anything or recording for trolling. If you don't get the part that you auditioned for, then we will work on a character which suits you, meaning you will get a part in the story.

Builders

Do not destroy things within the Story, this can include any potential recording area. TNT will be disabled, meaning you cannot TNT the whole server, if you are found out of doing this, you will be Kicked from the Story and IP banned.

Do not destroy someone's building which you think yours is better. if you want to have your build replace someones who has built that building, then we will want you to show us what it may look like when its finished. 

Writers

Do not expose the script to people, such as copying and pasting the whole script which spoils the whole episode which the script is based on. If the episode is completed, then this may be okay to release due to the fact that we won't use the script again.

Do not delete the script or delete someone else's script and then write your own. If you think you can write better, then include your improvement below the actual line in a different colour, showing that its an improvement.
