Wild World = Restart (MC Series Animated Short)
Project Overview
"Wild World = Restart" is a series that came from the failure of a regular Minecraft series I was running. In-world, Frilleggie is a content creator, who has his team simulate himself into the game's he records for content, however when the budget runs out, and the world around him disappears, he's pulled out, back to his world amongst his crew. Lashing out at them, Gallibarra and Shockery, his two partners in show biz, try their best to salvage the situation, making a rash decision, to throw Frilleggie back into a rerun that was sloppily made with little money behind it.
This animated short is to try and redeem an incident, where my Minecraft series actually got terminated due to a lack of funds. Now that we've come around to being able to fund it, I want to come back with a bang, and really excite my viewers with something new and interesting.
Since this is for my channel, you'll be voicing one of the two characters beside Frilleggie. Either Shockery, the tired show manager, or Gallibarra, the teetering-on-insanity tech support. These three characters make up the Jester's of Obleskaties, a cult-like crew that was born through a suspicious haze, that formed through the destruction of a once thriving Kingdom.

Each of these characters will 100% reappear on the channel, so if everything works out well, I'd love to continue working with you long-term! With that in mind, I'd love if you could let your personality shine, so I can really tell if you're a fit for the role.
I'm very passionate about this project, as it's the first real peak into the in-world behind-the-scenes activities, including the characters working the strings. Prior to this video, these characters have only ever been implied, and have never actually made an appearance, so this should be exciting!

Gallibarra (Gal-ee-bar-uh) is Frilleggie's (Frill-egg-ee) full-time editor and tech support assistant. Whilst she's a very bubbly and passionate person, she's also extremely vulnerable, and get's upset pretty easily. She craves validation from her peers, and often mimics the actions of those who rank above her. Often speaks with bursts of enthusiasm, and then strong moments of lows and self-doubt.
This character has the least amount of lines in the script. She serves as the introduction to the world behind the scenes, and then rests as flavour text and comedic relief. Any software will do, as long as you can send me your lines digitally.
This is a smaller role in this script, but Gallibarra is a recurring character who will show up plenty in future episodes. If this goes well, I’d love to bring you back for more lines later

Shockery (Shock-uh-ree) is the producer and financial handler behind the series, working from the shadows to keep things afloat. He’s dry, blunt, and often the voice of harsh reality when others get carried away, but he speaks with a layer of elegance and edginess that masks his hot-headedness. While he cares about the project’s success, his delivery tends to come across as cold, matter-of-fact, or even dismissive. He struggles with the stress of budgeting and deadlines, often sighing or snapping when under pressure.
Shockery plays a larger role than Gallibarra (Gal-ee-bar-uh), serving as both a foil to Frilleggie’s (Frill-egg-ee) frantic energy and a grounding presence in the chaos. His voice should carry weight and frustration, but still leave room for weary humor. Any recording software is fine, as long as you can send me your lines digitally.
I was kind of thinking Shockery's voice would be somewhat reminiscent of Dante/Virgil from Devil May Cry, but I'm open to interpretation.
Though he has a major presence in this episode, he’s a recurring character who will appear in future episodes, creating long-term opportunities for voice work.
