Hello! My name is Seb and I am the Production Manager for WeTogether Gaming, a cast production of a DnD(ish) Actual Play Podcast. I am posting this because we have wrapped on our Campaign 1 a few months ago and are starting production on the next phase of our journey together. We are a small outfit of friends but extremely passionate and have sorta stumbled into this by just loving what we do, and we have started a community and have grown a lot over the past year and a half.
With that being said, what we are looking for is other passionate people who may have a dream like ours to tell stories together, and improv together every week. If you've ever had that vision and just didn't know where or how to start, we feel our growing platform could be that start for you.
We have currently built a community of listeners from around the world, and though small, we have achieved this without any marketing or media other than our podcast, which you can listen to anywhere you get podcasts. We have a growing discord community that we have been successfully managing.
All this to say, we aren't that big, or have much in the way of social media presence, but that is all about to change. Like I mentioned, this all kinda started by accident, and now we made it through the first stage, we want to try to go to the next step, and really give this a try.
We are looking for 3-4 adults (18+) who have this vision, can match our passion, can help us grow and be creative in many different avenues from Actual Play to Streaming to Skits and Improv to Cooperative Storytelling, 1-2 days a week. We currently are doing everything in house, from production to marketing, and would love some passionate people who could fit into our flow.
*TL;DR*
Now, the important stuff. We are a remote group, currently consisting of 5 main production cast and while we have rounded out the roster with our friends and family in the past, we are looking to fill slots with people who will be as dedicated as our production cast has been to getting this off the ground. We are a remote play podcast from around the country, and we film using online tools.
That being said, a working Computer is a must to try out for us, as well as a stable Internet connection. We are all based in America across 3 time zones, out of country are welcome but if you are in a drastically different time zone, it may get weird with timing. Our recording and streaming days are still up to be decided as we are flexible enough to be able to figure it out for the right people, however Tuesday does seem to be a day our current cast is eyeing. We do voices and do encourage voice acting, though I must stress, we are all dedicated to having FUN with it, no one is going to yell at you for not being serious or force you to be a unnatural character for the sake of the game. If you want to know what we sound like playing, give our Podcast, linked below, a listen. What we will expect is dedication to all the levels of what it takes to do this show. We are more than willing to teach (Half our members learned how to edit from me lol) and we definitely are willing to learn but this isn't just a show up and voice act gig (yet.) We all pour hours upon hours into this and want the same respect for that that we give.
So! All of that to be said, this is not a paid gig. We can offer a home, a platform, passion and a shared vision of the future for our project. If that isn't enough for you I totally understand, I would be cautious myself in your shoes. But I've been around the block as far as creative endeavors and I believe what we have to offer is just as rare as a paid gig that doesn't last. We are starting something and I want to invite you to try out for us, and see if you fit.
*What You can do to audition*
Well, if you just want to give it a go, follow the audition here or drop a improv of your favorite Character you've made, or just you riffing through some lines. Have fun with it. If your equipment isn't ideal, don't let that stop you from auditioning. For the right person, we're willing to help with equipment upgrades where needed.
Joining our Discord before casting is completely optional. We encourage it simply because it gives you a chance to meet us and decide whether you enjoy the community you're potentially joining. Also, listening to our show is not mandatory but, would go a long way to that end. We are a group of friends who all met doing this in one way or another, and making sure whoever is coming in fits well is our highest priority.

And you can message me on here as well, I'll be checking every so often.
Not sure what to expect by posting this but, this thing has been a pretty wild adventure so far, and I would love to see how far we can go with it, even just to say we did.
- Seb (Despite the serious tone of this project post... we are very silly... so silliness is welcome)
