This story takes place in a universe where humans and "monsters" coexist.
[🍂] - GENERAL PLOT: It's about a mixed Afro-Latina human girl with vitiligo named Aspen Esperanza Louadean (She/Her) She is expelled from her previous private school due to her behavioral issues. Her mother was desperate to find her a new school, preferably a private school like her old one, and eventually, her mother found one. A brand new private high school for Aspen to attend, "Redwood Highschool" a school with only 221 students, with only 21 of them being Humans and the rest being Misfits.
She arrives to the high school by train. The area is secluded and covered in a thick lush forest with high walls that encloses all students within the school's perimeter. She enters the building and is greeted by her old childhood best friend whom she became separated from they went to different middle schools.
His name is "Ezria Kingsley" (She/Him). Although Ezria is happy to see his best friend after so many years, she realizes that they won't be allowed to interact with each other.. because at this high school, humans and Misfits have separate classes, dorms, lunches, and more due to unfortunate incidents that have occurred in the past at "Redwood Higshcool". Aspen and Ezria decide that they won't let the rules stop their friendship, one thing leads to another and Ezria ends up disguising Aspen as a werewolf, which allows her to get a schedule change and dorm change.
[💘] - WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN: Our series has educational topics, lots of diverse characters, and our characters will be written in a way that I can only describe as a perfect balance between cartoony and realistic.
I'd say that this story has a lot of potential! I already have various different character arcs planned to turn this into a beautiful and flourishing original story! I want this series to bring laughter to our audience with its slightly edgy and Gen Z-based humor but also reduce our audience to tears with its unique and powerful storytelling.
Our series will contain death, drama, 3D and 2D animation/illustrations, original songs, original soundtracks, and more!
In my eyes, the best kind of series is the kind that starts off cute and fun, but gradually gets darker.. that's what I'm going for with this series.
Our team is doing our research into various different cultures, traditions, religions, and queer identities 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️to bring people one of the best possible inclusive series using Royale High. Here in The Silhouetted Studio, we believe all forms of representation should be done correctly. 🫶🏿
[✅] - GOALS: My goal for this project is to provide a unique, interesting, heartwrenching story while also giving people the representation they may not have received growing up. A lot of media within the past few years have definitely been more inclusive which I love to see, but unfortunately, sometimes it just isn't done well. I want to tell the kind of story that has people rewatching my series over and over again, a sort of comfort show that you never get tired of, something you wish you could watch over again for the very first time once you finish it.
[📝]: INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT: BEASTARS, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Regular Show, Panty and Stocking, Adventure Time, Coven (BY CYBERNOVA) Bumped Into Your Heart (BY IBIBBISHIBOULA), Frenemies (BY JENSTINE), Mystreet (BY APHMAU), Wakfu, No Evil (BY BETSY LEE), Studio Killers 404 (BY STUDIO KILLERS), Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. (I watch a lot of cartoons lol)
[⚠️] - CONTENT/TRIGGER WARNINGS: The uncomfortable things that may be in my series: occasional swearing, depression, mentions of suicide/suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, self-harm, assault, homophobia, and transphobia. (all of these topics that I have just now mentioned will be used to educate younger audiences).
I hope that these things do not deter anyone from auditioning but I feel as if I should say this now rather than later. These themes will only occur in later seasons which is why I did not mark this project as NSFW.
[⭐] - EXTRA: This series may have several seasons, meaning if you audition please be aware that you are committing to a long-term project! I'm really excited to try and get it out to the public! I want this to be the first Royale High Roleplay series made for people who are 15+.
Also, please search up the voice headcanon before auditioning for a character. I put them there so that anyone who auditions for this project could get a general idea of what the character should sound like!
