Project Overview
Introduction
This call is for my upcoming pilot, Welcome To Necropolis! I aspire to make it a fully animated series aimed towards 17+ audiences! It's a wickedly entertaining story weaving together sci-fi, fantasy, horror, drama, dark comedy, romance... All wrapped together with strong musical motifs!
Overview
Necropolis, is the fictional world of Aethr's most dangerous city. Its laws are few and far between, crime is rampant, and a day is never promised in this cut-throat metropolis. Murderers, mad scientists and marauders galore lurk every street corner. If these don't drive you away, there's always the ever haunting ghouls, the repute-less undead, the ever persistent storms, and the threat of being dragged away by the ones who crawl beneath the streets might. Our main character, Sparky Deadbolt the surgeon, tries his best survive the day-to-day and help those in need.
Production dates
The deadline for Voice Acting auditions is the August 8th 2026.
The deadline for Audio Engineer applications and SFX/Foley Artist applications is August 15th 2026.
The deadline for Musician applications is August 20th 2026.
The deadline for 3d Modeler applications is September 10th [highly subject to change].
The deadline for 3d Animator applications and 3d Unwrapper applications is currently unknown, Mid-October is the approximate deadline.
If there are not enough applicants to fill all the slots, I will extend deadlines as needed. Deadline extension is NOT guaranteed, so please apply before then if interested.
Important information/Rules
Because of Extreme Gore, Swearing, and Violence, all staff MUST be 17+. This is for our protection just as much as your own. Anyone who falsifies age will be terminated from project and blacklisted from all future projects.
All applicants will need Discord. The production server is where I direct. You will be invited to server if chosen for role.
No one can demand content they created for pilot production to be removed. This rule is so if anyone quits it won't put us behind schedule.
Voice Actor
Sparky is a British male, he is 34 years old. He's the main character. He is eccentric, awkward, shy, compassionate, and sensitive. His voice is very crackly/rough. Singing talent required.
IMPORTANT TRAIT!! Sparky is a dichotomous character. This means his interests and looks starkly contrast his personality. He is not a confident character in the slightest, he is very shy and reserved despite having occasional loud outbursts.

*[Rambling while prodding]* Aren't you just picture perfect? Only one stab wound! It appears that it didn't even damage any organs! The only severance I'm seeing here is venous. It looks like you weren't able to find anything to use as a tourniquet, or maybe you didn't know... You are wearing a belt so I assume you didn't know.

NE0 is a black male, he is 35 years old. He's an in universe musician. He is charming, aloof, confident, and suave. His voice is smooth and he adds a slight growly quality to some words. Singing talent required.

Musician
I, Slushie Sweetheart, am a lyrical song-writer and singer but I lack the skills to make a full song. I require composers to create what I cannot.
This role is to create Diegetic scores for the characters to sing to, and Non-Diagetic music to establish mood.
The soundtrack I envision is New Wave with a similar sound to bands like Oingo Boingo, Alternative Radio, DEVO, Naked Eyes, Missing Persons, Thomas Dolby, Duran Duran, Martini Ranch and Gary Newman. This music is an eccentric fusion of rock and synth pop, it was very popular genre in the 80's.
Each character has their own musical motif which can lean more towards Synth-Pop or Avant-Garde Industrial Rock depending on the character.

Audio Engineer
This role is for someone to add in sound effects to make the world feel more immersive. Diegetic sound such as ambient city noise, robotic noises, body impacts, gruesome sound effects [Such as blood splatter and tearing flesh], and general world noises. Some exaggerated cartoony SFX is going to be needed as well, it's just used far more sparingly.
