Project Overview

Hello, everyone! This casting call is for upcoming show "Welcome to EmeraldCity", brought to you by Emerstone Productions, a new indie animation company that was recently founded in the US. Our show aims to shed light on the mental struggles and hardships teenagers face in high school, as well as the joys, the passions, the love, etc, as viewers join main character Layla Emerstone throughout her 4 years of high school.

We're searching for voice actors, as well as animators to bring this show to life. As of right now, only the voice acting roles are published and animator/artist roles will be published later on. If we feel your voice fits one or more characters in the show, we will reach out to you and offer you a voice acting position. All roles are in the English language.

  • Casting Update

    To everyone who’s auditioned for “Welcome to EmeraldCity”,

    I apologize for the delay with casting and reaching back out to everyone! I've been quite busy with wrapping up a smaller project I've been working on, along with other personal life events, so it's been taking longer than I expected to sort through everyone's auditions and go through the character roster to see who's voice fits who.

    I am still tangled up at the moment, currently in the process of moving and school is starting as well, so it will take me a while to get back to everyone, but I have not forgotten about the project don't worry!! :)

    Once again, I apologize for the delayed contact and lack of updates. Thank you all for showing interest in this project, and I'll make sure to reach out to you all as soon as I'm finished with sorting things out on my end!

  • Auditions/casting update

    To everyone who’s auditioned for “Welcome to EmeraldCity” so far:

    Yes, I’ve listened to all of your audition tapes, and I’m LOVING them all so far!! All of you are such talented voice actors, and some of your vocal ranges are so impressive like my jaw dropped through the floor listening to some of these tapes.

    I have not reached out to anyone yet about casting, simply because I’m still unsure of which voice I want to assign to which character, but I will get back to all of you as soon as possible!!

    I’m hoping to be able to give everyone a position in one way or another, whether it be a main role, side character, parent role, teacher role, etc, because as I said you’re all incredibly talented and I’ve been enjoying listening everyone’s auditions.

    (Okay I’m gonna post this before I almost accidentally delete this for a THIRD TIME.)
