We The Celestials YouTube Network Summer 2021 (Anime What Ifs, Deep Dives and Memes!)
Project Overview
Hey everyone! We are casting new members for the channels of the We The Celestials YouTube network. We're a fast-growing network of anime-related YouTube channels. Below is a short description of what we do and which options you have.
We're currently mainly looking for: Naruto What If writers, Deep Dive writers, Naruto What If voice actors, Naruto What If audio editors, Naruto What If Video Editors, and Deep Dive video editors!
Types of videos that we produce:
- Naruto What Ifs: These videos are all about "What If" scenarios based in the Naruto world and/or based around the Naruto series's characters. E.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiO28zHhPws.
- My Hero Academia What Ifs: These videos are so-called "What If" videos based in the My Hero Academia world and/or based around its characters. E.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rb9fxvpVW8.
- Anime Deep Dives: These videos are focused on explaining the concepts and lore of different anime series. For example, the Sharingan from Naruto or the Dragon Balls from DBZ. E.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlxAbOWxRNA
At the moment, we're looking to bring on more writers, voice actors, audio editors, and video editors! This is a commissioned job, so you decide how long you stay with us. It isn't uncommon for people to stick around for a fairly long time, though, with 4-12 months being our average.
What we expect from you:
- You're able to work in a team of like-minded anime fans.
- You can commit to at least 1 script/audio/video per week.
- You're 16 years old or older.
- You're able to deliver consistent quality (at least as good as your audition).
- You're able to keep on top of your own work.
- You're willing to stay with us for longer than just a few weeks.
- You know that you're not the best, but you've got the drive to strive.. for improvement! You embrace the feedback you get.
What you'll get in return:
- A welcoming community of like-minded and creative people to work with!
- Proper setup support and guidance in your work from our Heads of Department. (We won't leave you hanging!)
- A fair share of the income that we generate from the published videos you participated in. (As per a commission agreement!)
- The possibility to grow into other positions within the We The Celestials network.
- A great addition to your creative résumé!
Some of the commission options:
- 5 Video Agreement: You're signing on to complete 5 tasks at 7.5% of the Video's Ad-revenue for the month that it was uploaded
- 10 Video Agreement: You're signing on to complete 10 tasks at 10% of the Video's Ad-revenue for the month that it was uploaded
- 15 Video Agreement: You're signing on to complete 15 tasks at 12.5% of the Video's Ad-revenue for the month that it was uploaded
- 25 Video Agreement: You're signing on to complete 25 tasks at 15% of the Video's Ad-revenue for the month that it was uploaded
- 50 Video Agreement: You’re signing on to complete 50 tasks at 20% of the Video's Ad-revenue for the month that it was uploaded
While these are all revenue sharing, we plan to switch to base pay, with the bonus being a percentage of the revenue shortly. This will be the case after all three of our channels are running at 100%.

Have you always wanted to write about the lore and information of your favorite anime series? Then this is the role for you! We're looking for writers willing to assist our Deep Dive team with his/her writing skills!
You can audition by writing an informational ("Deep Dive") script of at least 1500 words about a topic in your favorite anime (like the Uchiha clan in Naruto or Bakugou from MHA). When you're selected, your script (if not yet written) will be expanded upon and become your first official finished script with us! It will be recorded by our amazing voice actors and eventually actually become a video.
Please make sure your scripts are of reasonable quality. Write it in proper English and don't use shorthands like "@" instead of "at." We expect fair use of grammar and punctuation marks. Don't bully our VA's by omitting the commas, please! :) Make sure a native English narrator can read your script without him/her having to correct it. Scripts must be in aerial font size 14, double spaced, and I usually ask the writers to put a space every 4-5 sentences so that there aren't just walls of text.

We are also looking for proper pronunciation of words as well. You're also expected to read scripts typically that are 1500-2500 words.

In the world of Naruto, ninjas wield supernatural powers known as Jutsu. They gather together in villages comprised of several clans within different countries known as Lands. In the Land of Fire, one of the most famous and powerful ninja villages exist, Konohagakure, or “the Village hidden in the leaves” is one of the most powerful of the various ninja villages in the world. This village had a leader, the Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, known as a “God of Shinobi” and as one of the wisest men to ever live. This leader had three disciples, who would later rise on to become known as the Sannin, or, Legendary Ninja.
Mirio didn’t lose hope and spent the rest of his childhood training his Quirk so he can fulfill his dream. He met Tamaki Amajiki in the third grade who had just transferred to his school. He fumbled during his introduction as he struggles with social interactions. Mirio realized that Tamaki was trying to say that he liked Pro Heroes so he approached him, beginning their friendship.
Code Geass’ history is mainly the same as our own history for quite some time. Britannia’s roots stem back when Julius Caesar attempted to conquer the British Isles. It is unclear whether he was successful or not. In our timeline, the Roman Empire was successful.

Young Midoriya tossed and turned at night, the boy was clearly unable to sleep. The possibility of a child of a high-profile villain at the very school he’s attending made him restless. It ate at him at all hours of the night, causing him to sweat in his bed. A sense of dread balled up in his chest and throat, making it hard for him to breathe. This was the last thing he needed as he prepared himself for the next day of school.
What didn’t help matters was Toya’s disappearance. The green-haired child thought of it and him every day. Where could he have gone? Did a villain get him? Were villains everywhere at this point?
"I didn't throw it. I gave it my all, but I wasn't strong enough to win," Midoriya retorted.
"The kid in first didn't seem to think so. I can see where he's coming from after your fight with the Todoroki kid," the man said. "You know, it's funny. I didn't expect to see you of all people here, but here we are, it's almost like we were destined to meet again," the man continued as he wrapped a hand around Izuku's throat, leaving his middle finger in the air. Izuku was smart enough to recognize the man.
And was promptly stopped by Aizawa. In the blink of an eye, the Pro had leaped towards the explosively-tempered boy and wrapped his scarf around his frame. In all honesty, it was a somewhat comical sight, but the cold edge carried by the Pro’s gaze was enough to nullify that. He’d expected shock, but there was none of that in Eraserhead’s eyes.
Bakugou: “Why the hell is your damn scarf so… strong?”
Aizawa: “It’s a captured weapon, made out of carbon fibers, designed to stop people a lot stronger than a pissed off middle-schooler.”

“Well, that'll be easy, right, Akamaru!” Kiba said with arrogance, and Akamaru Barked in agreeance. “We’ll see about that Dog Guy!” Naruto Said, putting his fist in his other hand’s palm as his Sharingan activated flawlessly. “Are you both ready? Okay, Now Begin!” the Ref said before jumping away.
“Yes. To some extent Orochimaru was right. The Sand needs work, and we can only hope that the Chunin exams prove to be a sufficient advertisement of our abilities. This is why I want a carrier pigeon sent to the leaf. Let Kankuro and Temari know to mitigate any of Gaara’s… outbursts. We don’t want the world thinking that our village is full of unstable monsters.”
"WHAAAAAAAA!!" Naruto jolted out from his stool, grabbing the receipt, and threw what was left of his spare change at the countertop. He booked it towards the sly elder's general direction. "Hey! He went the other way!" Teuchi called out; it was the least he could do to help out his most valued customer and most recent swindler victim.

Style doesn't matter too much, but we like to see a style similar to the anime we usually do what-ifs on like My hero academia, Naruto, and Dragon Ball.
