We're Only Seventeen (Gacha Animated Series)
Project Overview
Hello, lovely people reading this! I'm making a casting call for a future youtube GLMM I'll be creating, called "We're Only Seventeen".
At first, I was just going to animate the series since this will be my first ever animated glmm, but I've decided to try and make it a voice acted one.

Story Outline:
Selene, a famous student who hides her talent from everyone because of a painful past, joins a special drama number for a very special guest, who was invited to judge a school event after knowing that he's going to give a scholarship to one of the students who will perform on stage.
(The story will mostly take place in school)
Reminders:
● I will expect a great performance and full dedication from your work.
● This will be my first ever voice acted mini movie so there will be no sort of payment for any of these roles. Please be aware and understand before expecting something in return.
Jobs offered for the project:
For this project, I will only need voice actors, since I'm going to take the role of director, story writer, and video editor. This is my first ever animated and voice acted gacha mini movie that's why I'm really looking forward to working with people who will help me make my mini movie great and help me learn more about animations and movies.
Requirements:
● You must have an overall clear quality of audio (preferably with no background noise at all), and without any sound effects.
● You must have a Discord! Make sure to put in your discord username in your audition's description. Later on, I’ll also be asking for your Gmail (but only if you were chosen to be a cast).
● Please make sure to write down your availability or convenient time for you to work. (This will be discussed later on).
● There is no actual age limit, but it would be preferable if you were 14 or older (but everyone is invited to audition for the project!) This depends on whether your voice fits with the characters you auditioned for and not your age. But there will be a character that will need a childish voice, as for example, of a 7 or 8 year old.
● DEDICATION and COMMITMENT. If chosen, I will need your full dedication and commitment. If you're not sure you will be able to finish the project or are deciding to quit before finishing, please do not audition. Please make sure that you would be able to finish the project if your chosen.
● If you do not meet all or any of the requirements, you will not be considered for the project.
Other Information:
● The deadline for this casting call will be on July 10, 2020. (I might extend the deadline if needed)
● If you have any questions, feel free to message me; I’ll try my best to answer all of your questions. Just give me 1-2 days to reply.
● I might message some of you (who didn't get lead/support/minor roles) to voice act extra characters...
If hired:
● If you're cast as one of the voice actors, I'll be in contact with you, and will also add you to a discord group.
● Check your messages if I contact you. If you’re chosen for a role, but you do not contact me back within the first 48 hours (2 days) to officially claim the role, I’ll have to offer it to someone else.
● Please do not be toxic or mean to anyone while working, or in the discord group. I do not want a toxic environment.
● You have to be active (if there is a personal problem, please tell me or leave a message to me so that I would be aware of your situation)
● Submit/Turn your lines in time; that will be the most important rule you will need to follow apart from being active when needed. Don't worry, your lines will be due every two or three weeks (14 or 21 days) depending on the length of the video or episode.

Selene is a very talented girl. She's good at dancing, acting, playing instruments and more, but she hides the fact from everyone that she is really good at singing by pretending that she doesn't know how to.
I'm kind of looking for a clean, casual medium-pitched voice...
(confused) Hey, have you seen Damien and Aisha? They haven't shown up for our practice yet.
(frustrated and tired) Don't even get me started. Aisha kept breathing down my throat everytime I run lines with Damien.
This character is the young version of Selene... Just like the mom and dad, this character will not have as many lines as the lead roles.
I'm kind of looking for a soft and cute voice for this oc :)
(happy and excited) I want to be a great singer and write my own song!
(sad tone) Dad, what if I don't become successful when I grow up?
Damien is also known as "the most handsome" guy in their school. He's a serious guy around people he's not comfortable with but he is really sweet, loving and caring to his friends and girlfriend.
I want to give this character either a medium-pitched voice or a voice in between low-pitched and medium-pitched
(impressed) Hey, I just wanted to let you know that you did great out there! I am so impressed! (short pause) Anyways, I gotta go. I have to find Aisha, I'll see you later?
(irritated and almost shouting) What is wrong with you?! Why do have to be so rude to her?
(giving up to an argument)
(Feeling sorry) Okay.. okay... Look, I'm sorry for everything I said, but can we pleasee.. just fix this?
Aisha is the famous leader of the drama club. She's very sassy and sometimes really rude to people she doesn't like... She wants everything to be done right and that what makes her a good leader of the drama club... There will be a personality change for this character...
I'm kind of looking for a sassy medium-pitched voice...
(annoyed) You're late... (Short pause)
(shouts) I don't care! Are you even taking this seriously?! Because if you're not, then just quit!
(agitated, annoyed) Ugh! I swear to god, Diana if you don't shut up right now I'll make sure you'll regret opening your damn mouth.
Yuri's a cheerful person who's really good at dancing. She is Selene's bestfriend since freshman year, but even though they were bestfriends, she doesn't know that Selene is really good at singing.
I'm kind of looking for a cheerful voice for her... Somewhere in between high and med pitched voice...
(worried) What's wrong? You're zoning out.
(teasing) I know you're not blind, Selene. Admit it, you think he's hot too! Besides, I'm sure you two would make a pretty cute couple on stage!
Luna is also a sassy girl that is friends with Aisha. She always supports Aisha's decision even though she knows it's not going to cause any good. She also likes to pass around drama...
I'm kind of looking for a sassy medium-pitched voice too...
(assuming) I'm sure Jared would ask me out if I made myself prettier, I mean, I'm already very pretty yes I know, duh hehe, but I dont think it'd hurt to be even more pretty, I'm just saying.
(sly but not really, annoyed) You know what else i hate aside from side chicks? Their friends, like, I don't understand how you could be friends with someone who's ruining a great relationship like, be a good friend and do something you know?
Diana is one of Aisha's friends that tries to act like them, but deep inside she's really sweet and soft. Sometimes, she tries to tell Aisha and Luna that what they're doing or saying might be a little too much, but her friends just keep telling her that it's fine.
I'm kind of looking for a soft or medium-pitched voice for this oc...
(Shy, meekly) Hey, dont you guys think that's a little too much? (Pause) ...sorry.
(Embarrassed, shy) Sorry about that, she just loves to pass the drama around. I just wish someone would pass her a brain next time though if u know what i mean hehe.
Jared is Damien's friend. He's mature and he's good at giving people advices. He has a personality between Gab and Damien... He takes things seriously during serious moments, but laughs and jokes around if they're not talking about something serious.
I prefer a low-pitched voice for this oc but he's voice could also be medium-pitched
(laughing) I wouldn't bet on it, Gab, you're like, the worst actor I've ever seen. You can't even keep a straight face. (laughs again)
(Calm) You know, Damien, sometimes, girls are wrong. But we as men, have to say that they're right. Its not very honest but its better than cheating, because one day it'll all fall apart, and she can't say u didn't try.
Gab is one of Damien's friend. He's kind of immature and loves to joke around... He always tries to light up the mood during serious moments...
I'm looking for a high/medium pitch voice for him.
(joking & laughing) Damn, didn't think you had it in you, Damien. (short pause) Man, let me tell you something, if I had walked into the audition, I'm pretty sure they'd just hand me the role... Not only would i get the spotlight, but the ladies as well.
(in a high pitched voice)Oh darling! I love you! You mean the world to me! (then laughs)
(Soft spoken, concerned and trying to light up the mood) Hey, what's wrong? Look anymore sad and you'll start to look like Eeyore and like, no offense to Eeyore but, he ain't exactly hot u know?
She is very sweet, loving and supportive. This role doesn't have a lot of lines but this character will probably be seen at the beginning of the movie/series.
I'm kind of looking for a soft and loving voice.
(sweet and soft tone) Sweetie~ (short pause) go get ready, we're going to the mall.
(soft and sweet tone) (comforting someone) Sweetie, don't say that. You're good at singing. Besides, you're still young, there's still a lot room for improvement. You just need to practice more, okay?
This character is very supportive and caring. He's also really sweet and wants the best for his family. This role will not have a lot of lines but this character will probably be seen at the beginning of the movie/series.
I'm kind of looking for a deep voice for this character...
(agreeing) She's right, sweetie. Besides, you're still young, there's still a lot room for improvement. You just need to practice more, okay?
(sweet tone) Promise dad that you'll always give your best at everything you do...
This is just an extra character. I'm thinking maybe high-mid pitch voice would be fine for this oc.
(little annoyed) Are you two just gonna fight the WHOLE day?
(annoyed) I said stop! I had enough!
