Forest Dweller (comic dub)
Project Overview
THIS PROJECT WILL CONTAIN CURSING
g'day there! welcome to the first auditions for Forest Dweller, a work in progress personal comic project of mine for art school.
a thing to note is that most of these roles are long-term and there's a big possibility they will become paid in the future in one way or another.
-there will be more auditions in the future for side roles which may or may not be temporary. it depends on what turn the story takes.
-a requirement is that you have discord for communication.
-any unpublished in-depth character details and unpublished story details are not to be shared in public and are to be kept in the discord.
-no previous experience is required, i just ask that you have somewhat of a proper microphone to record your lines(earbud microphones usually work just fine)
-i might look for artists for human characters in the future.
-the currently available characters are anthro dragons with the ability to turn into humans on command. it is important that you feel comfortable with that.

LONG-TERM ROLE
Beta is Luna's best friend and guardian. i imagine her having a slightly lower voice, maybe a slightly Irish accent but i'm not picky and anything goes! she's around 16/17 years old and will age eventually obviously, which will result in a lower voice. a small requirement is that you can at least sing somewhat, as there might be a possibility i'll do some short animatics that relate to the story.
"And where have you been?" (somewhat angry, someone has just come back from somewhere they're not supposed to be without your supervision)
"oh, come on, man! you KNOW what you did!" (annoyed, someone did something they knew was wrong)
"don't you dare bail on me right now!" (scared, angry and slightly panicking, someone's leaving while you need help not dying)
LONG-TERM ROLE
Killian is the fatherly figure of the main character, but is terrible at it. he is a leader, has a deep voice and is generally very selfish, loud and obnoxious. the only thing he cares about is himself and his leading position. some kind of singing skill would be very much welcome for possible future animations/animatics.
"Not now, can't you see i'm busy?" (annoyed, kind of hissing/whispering, speaking to his child who is asking a question while he is in a conversation)
"Haven't you done enough!?" (angry, loud and slightly upset. shouting because the person he's talking to messed up big-time in his eyes)
looking for a background concept artist that can bring my ideas to life. quick colored sketches will do, i just suck at backgrounds so i need some help with creating rough references!
