Warriors - Unbroken Heartbeats
Project Overview
WARNING: Promotional art is old.
Basically a 'fanimation' of sorts very loosely based off of the Warrior Cats book series, a series about feral cats who live in the wild and have a specific social structure/often get into conflicts with rival feral cat groups. Much of the setup for this will be different (and it will of course deal with other characters) and it will be sort of 'roughly' animated, so perhaps a little more like a comic with voices or somewhere in between instead of a full on animation.
Feel free to audition even if you know nothing about the original series this is inspired by. Most of the structure of this will be largely different anyway.

Father to Tinypaw and Sparrowpaw. Usually a very kind, playful, and warm-hearted warrior, but can be stern at times when rules are broken. Sticks to the rules himself, and very responsible, despite his playful and overly-affectionate attitude as a father.
"I'm disappointed in you both. You should count yourselves lucky that I'm not the one in charge of your punishment."
(warmly, with enthusiasm) "Hello, kits! I've brought you something really great!"
Mother to Cinderfang and Appleface. Kind-hearted, responsible, and friendly, if a little too playful at times, even despite her age.
(amused) "That's very smart thinking. I'm certainly lucky to have been given such a clever apprentice."
(firmly, if somewhat fearful/panicked) "Sparrowpaw, get back! Let the adults handle this!"
(at first reassuring, then quieter [hushed] and teasing) "Oh, no. Voles aren't like hedgehogs at all, don't worry. My son, however, might share a few noticeable traits with them. Mainly his prickly attitude."
Deputy of the Clan and, frankly, much more respected than Thistlestar. Serious, reserved, commited to her duties, and somewhat humourless. Can be overly strict or even hostile at times.
"Cinderfang, take a patrol and search the border. If there's any sign of invasion, report to me immediately."
(darkly) "They will return our kits to us or face the consequences."
"There's no need to worry. Everything will be handled."
Probably a higher pitched voice. Brother to Sparrowpaw and the runt of the litter, he is training to be a medicine cat (healer) instead of a warrior. Passionate, strong-willed, and very logical-minded, and usually more of a loner - but when approached, he can be a little quarrelsome at times. He does care about others, though (his motivation for being a medicine cat) and is usually a pacifist.
"I promise I'll do my best! I won't let you down."
"That's the most harebrained idea I've ever heard. I mean, unless you're trying to get yourselves killed."
(sighing) "Bravepaw, please don't tell me she's sucked you into another one of her schemes again. Do you even remember what happened the last time?"
A young cat with a not-very-apt name. (In this setting, the prefix of a name normally indicates a cat's appearance; his parents were very dramatic, and thus he has been teased most of his young life.) Agreeable, hesitant, and tends to go with whatever others say - somewhat of a pushover. Can worry too much about things, and is not really very brave at all in the face of danger.
(hesitant) "I don't know, Sparrowpaw. That... might not be the best idea."
(reassuring) "Don't worry about it. It's no fur off my pelt, really."
(narration) "My name is Bravepaw. Unfortunately."
Sister to Cinderfang and the full medicine cat. Quiet and reserved and often keeps to herself, but when provoked can be quite stubborn, sharp-tongued, and quick to anger. A bit socially awkward and anxious around other cats. Committed to her job, but does not make friends very easily, if at all. Notably fades into the background save for her somewhat pretty appearance - contrasting with her often awkward and unpleasant attitude when approached.
(exasperated) "Yes, well, that's all very well and good, but hope isn't going to keep your pelt from being ripped up on the battlefield."
(giving praise, though somewhat awkwardly) "Good work, then. That was very clever of you, for an apprentice."
(somewhat harshly) "As a medicine cat, you are a healer, true. But as a member of the Clan, it's your duty to learn to fight as well - and you shouldn't be afraid to spill blood if it means keeping your family safe."
Soft-spoken and compassionate, Honeypaw is sister to Gorsepaw, and much less prideful than he is.
"Don't worry about my brother. He'll come around."
"Training's not so bad. You'll get used to it."
Upbeat, overly friendly, and somewhat clueless friend to Tinypaw and Sparrowpaw. Disregards any and all rules completely; very carefree.
I literally cant change her type from Baby to Teen. She is not a Baby.
"Ha, you're a pretty weird guy, Tinypaw! But that's what makes you cool!"
"I have no idea what you are saying to me right now."
A young warrior, but already very serious and dutiful, possibly to the point of coming off as bossy or too serious. Reserved outside of hunting patrols or training; very work-oriented. Cares deeply, however, for his sister.
(defensively, even condescending) "Appleface is your medicine cat and should be treated with respect. I don't appreciate your tone."
"No. Thistlestar didn't say anything about that. Stick to your orders."
"Your loyalty should be to the Clan first. You should never let it stray beyond our borders."
Father to Bravepaw. Loyal and committed to his responsibilities, but prone to overreaction and dramatics, and still a little immature - many cats believe he became leader much too early, and perhaps was not the right cat to be made deputy at all. He tries his best, either way, and is a generally doting and kind father and mate, even if he can jump to conclusions or dramatics fast sometimes.
(authoritative, commanding) "All cats old enough to catch their own prey join here for a Clan meeting!"
(warmly) "How's my favorite little warrior today, hmm?"
"As a father, I'd like to congratulate you on the wording of that insult. As a Clan leader, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."
An apprentice from the rival Clan. Friendly and warm, though often quiet and can be a little tentative. Sensitive.
"Thank you. For talking to me, I mean. It's nice to not be treated like a robin with a broken wing for once."
(amused, with warmth) "The code doesn't say anything about not making friends from another Clan, mousebrain!"
Confident, strong-willed, usually friendly, but can be judgmental and somewhat arrogant. Despite this, he isn't a rulebreaker at all, instead sticking strictly to the code and rules and judging anyone who doesn't harshly.
(somewhat harshly) "The warrior code says you should be loyal to the Clan. I don't think this counts as loyal."
"Don't sweat it. Not everyone is good at everything the first try, right?"
Probably speaks in a more rough/aggressive tone most of the time. Competitive, fearless, and headstrong.
"I bet I can catch way more prey than you, Gorsepaw!"
"Oh, please. That other Clan never stood a chance."
Nightpaw's brother. Calm, friendly, and doesn't get angry easily.
"(friendly) Don't worry. Not all TreeClan cats are as fierce as we seem. Though I wouldn't cross Nightpaw if I were you!"
"(after being insulted by Gorsepaw) Is that a normal greeting for you RockClan cats? Because that was pretty rude. You should be careful; our Clans are at peace right now, remember?"
Tinypaw and Sparrowpaw's mother, and the best fighter in the Clan.
"Alright, settle down. If you're good, I'll tell you all about when I beat Shellstar in battle. How's that sound?"
"Absolutely not. Kits aren't allowed to leave camp for a reason. We wouldn't want you getting hurt, after all."
Best friend to Bravepaw and a notorious bad influence in their kithood. Spirited, stubborn, and an infamous know-it-all who has a bad habit of sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, often coming off as fussy or nosy simply because she cares perhaps a bit too much about things that should technically be qualified as 'not her business.' Overcompensates for poor self-esteem and a hidden fearfulness with outward boldness and an almost daredevil attitude, having no care at all for rules.
"Oh, come on, Bravepaw! Where's your sense of adventure?"
"Who says we can't be friends with cats from outside the Clan? That doesn't even make sense."
"Being a good warrior is about being daring! Being so wishywashy all the time isn't going to catch you any prey!"
