This collection of short stories are set in a dark fantasy setting inspired by a previous homebrewed Dungeons and Dragons campaign. A world featuring a lot of blood and death, but not without hope.
The series will use mostly World of Warcraft assets animated using blender. You are welcome to voice multiple characters if you've got the range. Feel free to audition even if you don't think you're right for the role, there will be plenty of smaller roles that aren't listed. And even if you play a small role, you could be right for a newer character later with a larger role.
Note: We will be doing live directing voice sessions for recordings. So be sure you have a Discord or something similar to make that possible before auditioning.
After careful consideration, I decided to turn this series into a comic book with my own art and setting, so I can call it truly my own, rather than a fanmade project.

Unfortunately, I have technically cancelled this project. This will no longer be a machinima using in game models. I have been convinced to create a series of short animatics on youtube to advertise what this project will now become; an independent comic book.
The animatics will still need voice actors, so everyone who auditioned will still be considered once the animation has been finished. So thank you for auditioning. I hope you'll still be available when I need voice actors for the animatics.
Mol'traya, or Mol, is dark elf who finds it difficult to adjust to life on the surface due to the cruel environment she was born into. Though her time away from home can shed light on the question; was cruelty a trait she was only raised to personify or is it in her personal nature?
Her primary goal is to find who remains of her family that fled to the surface, rebuild her House, and return to the Underdark to get revenge on those that caused it's destruction.

This charismatic fighter is considered one of the best swordsman in all the realm. The ultimate thrillseeker is driven entirely by pride, self-interest, and a lust for power, though his ultimate goal is to use that power for an altruistic purpose. His drive for greatness is challenged when he realizes ordinary folk begin to look to him for safety and emotional support. He begins to feel a heavy sense of responsibility.
When Urdrick is told to stay behind during a negotiation, he replies angrily; "This is exactly why you shouldn't be in charge. You don't bench your most powerful player."
Urdrick gets annoyed when others make long drawn out plans. "I have a better plan. Just attack!"
"Just believe in yourself. Even if you don't, pretend like you do. Maybe you'll believe it when you need it. Atleast long enough to get you through it."

Snarky and self-importance are traits you might not expect from a cleric, but Bludwyn is not a regular cleric.
Blood Magic is rare, even more rare are blood clerics chosen by their gods. Blood magic is a misunderstood form of magic often used for the most powerful spells capable of incredible healing, as well as causing immense pain. With her calm and friendly disposition, Bludwyn tends to prefer using her abilities as a healer for diplomacy over fighting, though her enemies often find themselves with regrets when they challenge her.
"Being a Blood Cleric doesn't mean sacrificing the blood of the innocent."
"You're not familiar with the divine, but you carry blood. All blood carries a bit of divine power. That's what gives it the power to give life. Blood Magic is not meant to be used for evil."
Reciting ancient teachings: "As blood flows through and invigorates the body, so faith flows through and invigorates the soul. Ever remember this: Thy blood and thy faith are one in the same. Spill not thy blood nor that of another heedlessly, but do not hesitate to spill either when the cause is just."
A "dashing" scoundrel with a self-deprecative sense of humor. Smart enough to know he can't win a fair fight, and secure enough to feel no shame when he cheats to come out on top. His sense of humor masks a man whose more skilled than he wants you to know. He communes with spirits to borrow their knowledge and skills to solve problems, though this often leaves his body temporarily possessed by the entity.
Jokingly, "Come on fellas, let's not resort to violence. Surely we can come to an understanding? After all, I'd hate to die."
Confidently, "I'm not one to brag," Jokingly, "Mostly because I don't have any skills to brag about."
When possessed by an aggressive spirit Theta would use a more aggressive voice when he says something akin to, "You have no idea who you're dealing with."
Mekel is the smartest man in the room. Unfortunately he knows it. He's an artificer and a rifleman.
He has a sarcastic sense of humor and a hair trigger temper that often gets him and his friends into trouble. Mekel respects no one and praises no one. His idea of positive reinforcement is to not insult you.
"Oh of course, don't listen to the smart guy. No, no, listen to the jackass."
"They found out Aidrick is some kind of folk hero, so they're all, "Tell us about the time you slayed that wereboar!" and "Hey hero, sign my sword!" (Frustrated Sigh)We gotta get outta here."
"No I'm pretty self aware. I just like messin with people more than I like having friends."
An experienced Druid of the Autumn wilds. She is wise, but no stranger to aggression when someone or someone under her protection is threatened.
"There is serenity in nature, but also a primal savagery. That is not something to be ashamed of. That is balance."
"Destruction is not the end. A forest fire may promote later regrowth."
Humorously referring to her pet cat, "I wouldn't underestimate him. He's my bodyguard."
With a background as an entertainer, Jovi finds it easy to make a sale, though his magic items, potions, and herbs aren't guaranteed to work in the way he anticipated. Luckily, he's met a group of adventurers who are willing to test his creations.

In a city where every guard is from a former mercenary group, this human namdd Stone finds excitement in breaking up tavern brawls by knocking out all involved. Luckily, there are plenty of dangerous bandits, evil sorcerers, and other villains to channel his anger toward. These therapeutic battles ironically leave him as one of the happiest men in the city.
"New recruits might get bored by guard duty, but you'll never find a veteran complaining about a nice quiet afternoon full of not being stabbed."
"I mostly deal with petty thievery and drunken brawls. Been too long since we've had a good bandit raid."

A seasoned bounty hunter with a full set of armor made from the bones of powerful druids. Born for the thrill of the hunt with no moral compass, the Butcher sees hunting intelligent creatures as his most favorite game.
Confident, "You don't need to be brave when you're the most dangerous man in the room."
Bored, "I don't really need the gold. I only took this challenge because there was nothing else interesting happening in this boring place."
Merciful, "I'll tell everyone you went out in a blaze of glory."
A Dwarven barbarian of the Emerald Enclave with a knack for aggressive negotiations.

A swordsmaster and teacher of Urdrick, Sebastian is is well known for being wellspoken, wise, and charming. He is always happy to see his student return to brush up his skills.

Using a secret blood magic ritual and sheer will, this blood hunter undertook the curse of the lycan to harness the power of a monster without losing himself. Although he might find the monster within isn't so different from his true self. (Read both lines as the human form and the lycan form.
"Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
"You whisper in my ear, 'you cannot tame that monster within you'. But there is no monster within me. I am the monster!"
Goblins are small, dangerous, and disgusting creatures that can be found living almost anywhere. Although they usually attack first and don't care to ask questions, they might be smarter than most folks give them credit for.
After being captured, a goblin might respond, "I'm not gonna talk to you! You killed my friends! I mean-I wanted to kill them all myself when this was all said and done. But you took that away from me!"
When looking at a book a goblin might comment, "Imagine if a person could read this whole thing in one lifetime."
"You killed my mom and dad! That means I don't have to listen to them anymore. I'm free to do what I want. They wanted me to kill ya so they could have your stuff. But now I get to kill ya just cuz I wanna!"

A mysterious entity that appears to Paladins who break their oaths to guide them toward their new role or challenge them to regain their previous Oath.
"You have broken your oath, Paladin. At the end of the day, I will be waiting for you."
"When another's Oath is broken. I stand witness. I hear their sorrow. I hear their jubilation. I guide their hand."
"Tell me-Why did you abandon your oath?"
Pitch a story with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Begin with the tone of the story. Comedy, Heroic Fantasy, Horror, etc.
