Project Overview
Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story as its only creator. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for three voice actors to play 2 characters and 1 summon in the story.
-These episodes are videos posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to give life to the Webtoon, with voice acting, music, sound and occasional animation.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. There are many episodes published on Webtoon, with the series actually complete and scheduled for weekly releases every Friday at 3 PM EST.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Vanguard, or Shadowverse. Feel free to take a look at my Webtoon if you are in need for more context:

Moderate-High Role (Arc 2), Minor Role (Arc 3): (Age 17) Burtant is a hot-headed contestant in arc 2's big tournament. He loves playing with fire, using fire cards of course. He's usually seen side by side with Alexis, despite the two constantly butting heads.
Personality: Burtant is loud and cocky. He can also come across a little dull-witted at times, as he plays a very fast, aggressive game, leaving very little room for defense or counter measures if things don't work out. He's also very easily angered and will lash back out. It creates amusing interactions with Alexis, who ticks him off often.
Voice: I'm looking for someone with a male teen, young adult voice, capable of projecting, being a little louder than the usual character. Before you ask: Yes. Moderate-High Role (Arc 2): Moderate Role (Arc 3) (Age 16) Alexis is a contestant in arc 2's big tournament. She's usually seen alongside Burtant, despite the two constantly butting heads. Despite her arrogance, she's actually quite a competent player.
Personality: Alexis is the embodiment of a spoiled, arrogant sweet-16 valley girl. She's very enthusiastic, selfish and full of herself, just like Burtant. She's also VERY flirty and will flirt with many of the males in the cast.
Voice: I'm looking for someone with a female teen, young adult voice. Definitely need you to sound like a spoiled teenage girl. I need you to be the most over-the-top valley girl you can possibly be. Card Lore: She acts as an angel of high order, enforcing an ever peaceful haven for those that have departed to the afterlife. Despite great pain, she once banished her very own sister from the heavens.
Personality: Serious, no nonsense. Authoritative.
Voice: I'm looking for a female adult voice. You'll just make battle grunts/effort noises.
