Hey, everyone! School is coming around for everyone, so there will be less time for me to work on the project. The estimate release date has been pushed to mid-late September. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
(Voltron Abridged One-Shot) Voltroff
Project Overview
This a very short abridged project for Voltron: Legendary Defender!
REQUIREMENTS:
1. You must have a decent mic. I will accept a small amount of white/background noise.
2. If cast, lines must be completed and sent in ASAP.
All communication will be through email.
The final project will be posted on youtube, and all members will be able to have a copy of the completed work. Also, please know that I haven't put up anything yet on my channel, so the project really won't give you publicity.
This project is mostly something to have fun with and to gain experience. This is the very first project I'm putting together myself as well, so any tips are VERY much appreciated! Because of the whole, "newbies" vibe I will especially be looking at new aspiring voice actors!
The scene that the abridged one-shot is based around is the mind melding exercise from Season 1 Episode 2, "Some Assembly Required." I plan to have to the project completed within the month of August or if possible late July.

Project and Casting
Hey, everyone! Just want to say that I'm going to begin casting people on July 5th! I'm looking a for a little more variety, so please share this project with other friends who are possibly interested! Lastly, keep in mind this project is probably going to end up being less than a minute, but no less than 30 seconds. This project is mostly for experience, fun, and practice!

Allura is the Princess of Altea and is one of the few remaining Alteans alive. She is a commanding character and pilots the Castle of the Lions.
Range: Medium-low, but I'm open to other interpretations.
For this one-shot, I would like her to come off as easily irritable and wants to get rid of the paladins. She speaks very little in this one-shot.

(Commanding) Paladins, please focus!
(Serious and Frantic) Coran, we have to get rid of them. The mice will pilot the Lions just fine.

Coran is Princess Allura's royal advisor and is one of the other few Alteans alive. He is a comedic and very animated character who is assumed to be around 600 years old.
Range: Medium-Low. Open to other interpretations.
Coran won't be any different than how he usually is from the original. However, I am willing to accept other types of voices if it happens to fit his character!

Takashi Shirogane, better known as Shiro, is the leader of the paladins of Voltron and pilots the Black Lion. Previously before being rescued, Shiro was taken as prisoner by Galra along with Pidge's father and brother. Throughout the series, he is shown to have PTSD from this.
Range: Low-Medium
Abridged Shiro is just as the fandom describes him. He's just a random man who suddenly became a Space Dad with PTSD. Shiro just wants a vacation, man.

Lance McClain is one of the paladins of Voltron and pilots the Blue Lion. He is known to act overconfident and arrogant. However, Lance is insecure about being the seventh wheel and is very homesick over his family supposedly in Cuba.
Range: Medium-High
I would like this abridged Lance to jokingly emulate the idea of langst. However, he's still in touch with his arrogant and animated side.

Pidge Gunderson (her real name being Katie Holt), is one of the paladins of Voltron and pilots the Green Lion. She's best known for being a stellar hacker. She is driven by her determination to find her brother and father in space.
Range: Low-Medium. Keep in mind she was mistaken as a boy at first.
I was going to self-cast myself as Pidge, however, if I happen to find someone who can voice her better then I will have them voice her! Pidge is not much different from her original self.
