Project Overview

In a world governed by fragile alliances and hidden agendas, Voidscape follows the complex lives of characters entangled in a web of betrayal, self-discovery, and psychological conflict. Cedric, the celebrated leader of the city-state Lotus, is haunted by regret as he realizes he has long been a pawn in the hands of corrupt political forces. His struggle to maintain control over his people is further complicated by Warrick, a former ally with a shadowy past. Warrick’s secrets hold dangerous implications, and his opposition on the council threatens Cedric’s leadership while hinting at deeper layers of corruption.

Loui, a young idealist who idolizes Cedric, is driven into an identity crisis when he discovers that his beloved, Sami, bears cybernetic enhancements, forcing him to confront his own beliefs. His journey of self-discovery leads him to Ophelia, a brilliant yet unstable runescribe whose descent into madness leaves her with permanent psychological scars. Ophelia’s influence over Loui challenges his convictions, pushing him further into self-destructive behaviors even as he struggles to understand himself.

The story delves into themes of regret, power, loyalty, and the haunting impact of past choices. Against a backdrop of political intrigue and personal conflicts, Cedric, Loui, Warrick, and Ophelia navigate a world fraught with deception and danger, each of them fighting their own battles against inner darkness. As secrets unravel, they must confront the voids within themselves—or risk being consumed by them.

  • Where Voidscape is at

    So as I state every time it seems in these updates I am still writing Voidscape on my own and at my own very slow pace sadly. I have recently just reached a pivotal part in the script that would essentially end act 1 and begin act 2 of the script (about 36 pages in). I haven't really been writing much these past few months because I always feel on my own this project is way too ambitious...but then I come back to it because I truly love this world and characters that have been created. So where do you (interested person in Voidscape) stand... well something I have been thinking about is reviving the Voidscape discord open to all to join and chat discuss and even be a part of the creative process where you can all get access to the current up to date google docs and script. If that is something any of you are interested then please let me know and other then that I would just say still slow still alone on this project and still very ambitious to get Voidscape made in 1 way or another. Thanks again for any of you who still follow Voidscape on here and are curious and excited for it!

  • Quick Update

    I would like to say I hope that there are still people who are interested in what this project will eventually be. I have a quick update on the progress or lack there of. I have begun writing the script for the series as a whole (which is going to be a long script) I am a proud 13 pages in and this is my first time writing a script so bare with me on this as just one 30 minutes animated episode is standard to be around 40-50 pages. I should say I have no planned episode length as I still have no animators assigned to the project at the time being nor any co writers still and I am thinking about re launching the Voidscape Discord server if you are interested. Lastly thanks again for your attention and excitement out Voidscape!

    I know things have been silent here for far too long and I have a small update for anyone interested in the project. I had taken a break from the stress of trying to do all this alone while not having the skillset to do it. I have begun doing some small rewrites on my own while looking for a more experienced writer to join me in expanding what is already existing in the script(if you or someone you know wants to be that writer dm me personally). Secondly I am trying to figure out what to do with Voidscape it has been very hard to find animators that are up to par with what I imagine Voidscape to be. Lastly to those who submitted their voice line auditions some of you did a fantastic job and ARE being considered for the project long term but I don't think it would be fair to reach out until your services will actually be needed; when I launched the ad for people to jump on the project I thought Voidscape was ready but it wasn't and I lost 2 key people on the project due to them being apart of other projects and I haven't found replacements for them.
