I'm a Voice Design looking to expand my portfolio (to hopefully get a job in the industry), and for that I need a (better) reel. This is a second iteration, after some feedback from industry professionals, so although I've made one before, I need to improve on it. Therefore, I've selected a few small parts that I would love to get some voices to, so I could do some design work on top of them!
This is not a paid job, however I would like for it to be quid pro quo, in the sense that I am willing to help you with future recordings you might have! Either clean-ups or a voice design you'd require, I'd love that we become part of each other's networks.
Besides, I'll obviously also credit you for your work, in the reel itself and when sharing it in my website and social media, and I can also deliver back to you both the edited files (cleaned and processed) for you to use in your own reels.
Please submit your auditions completely raw, as vocal design would be applied later. I only care about your voice for this, not about how you'd treat it (that would be my job 😉).
I'll be using external character art that may not be the final used, but still serve as a baseline for what it is expected of the character you'll be reading for.
There is a possibility, given the nature of this project, that you may be casted and end up not appearing in the final product. In that case, my offer to help you still applies! You not appearing in the final project would not be a error on your part, it would be a flaw on my end, because it would mean I didn't achieve the quality I was expecting with what I set out to do with your recording.
