INTRODUCTION / PROJECT OVERVIEW
Hello! My name is Intro-Mind, a content creator who posts videos on my YouTube channel. I'm currently in need of a voice actor for my ongoing Halo 3 machinima series, "Sandguardians".
The series is a coming-of-age story, greatly inspired by "Red vs. Blue" (of course) but it isn't a cloned copy. Power Rangers, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings also act as inspirations in addition to RvB, containing lots of sci-fi action, comedy, and drama.
You can view the series on my YouTube channel or read more about it on its own Fandom site. Right now the series has 3 seasons, spanning 50 episodes, and I'm currently producing Season 4 which will have 15 episodes (the character himself won't appear in all 15 episodes as there are many characters). Episode lengths range from 6-10 minutes. Scripts have been written for each episode and I hope to start releasing episodes around April 2022.
CHARACTER OVERVIEW
The character is named Archibald "Archie" Walker, one of the supporting characters in the series who makes his debut this season. He is a member of the "Guardians", a small band of rebels who are being hunted by the ONC, the classic big bad organization of the series. Archie is the communications specialist and talkative tech junkie of the group; very friendly and sociable but mostly introverted.

FINAL NOTES
This project has always been a fun passion project of mine and is unpaid. I don't want to waste anyone's time, so if this affects your decision to audition I completely understand. I'm very lenient on things and never want to spam actors for lines or micromanage, due to all of us having our own responsibilities. We've all got stuff going on and I don't want to bog anyone down with this. I'm also fairly new to this site, having migrated from VoiceActingAlliance back in the day haha, but it is extremely user-friendly and has some really great talent!

Archibald “Archie” Walker (male, late 20s-early 30s) is a communications expert; a social introvert who likes to figure things out, is very curious about tech and people, and enjoys casual conversation. He finds it hard to sit still and would rather keep his mind active. He is very considerate when speaking his mind but doesn't like to be wrong. He’s more of a lover, not a fighter, and prefers to be the guy in the chair. But when he ends up saving the day, he expects to get the credit for it.
Inspirations for the character include:
[Your friends are freaking out around you. You're all stuck in the middle of nowhere without a signal to call for help. But all you are is confused. Why is everyone so worried? You know how to solve the problem; it's actually a simple fix. You work your magic. You got this.]
"Happy thoughts guys, happy thoughts. All I need to do is open up the comms, increase the frequency, and... booyah! There we go! You wanted a clear signal, now you got it. ...That was actually kinda fun. Got anything else?"
[Your friend is feeling defeated after an embarrassing incident on a date. You see things differently and are proud of your friend for pushing through their fears. You let them know why they should be proud too.]
"Okay yeah, you "failed", but the day wasn't a total loss. You were the only one who could make her laugh and I've never seen anyone recover from a pie in the face like that before. It was... pretty entertaining. (chuckles) All I'm saying is, laugh about this in a month or two because you have nothing to be ashamed of. You've made me proud. ...But getting hit in the face with that pie? So funny!"
[You've been supporting your partner for a film they've been starring in and have reluctantly passed on a career move to be there for them. Your partner gained so much self-confidence thanks to your support and even won an award for their performance. However, they thanked everyone but you in their acceptance speech. They apologize but you feel hurt, regretful, and you can't stay silent anymore. Fuck their apology.]
I did everything right! I was there for you! I supported you, for two years! I gave up the career I've been working towards for a decade... just so I could be there for you. ...And you didn't even acknowledge me. Hell, you didn't even look at me! You acted like I didn't matter to you. I don't want your apology, I want an answer. ...Do I matter to you?
