AUDIO DRAMA; Writers Needed!!

I’m in need of a writer for an audio drama project that I have been workshopping for two years now.

As of now it is not a paid position, but when we begin to move toward the finalize pre-production stages having funding will be of my topmost priority.

Unfortunately, in a full disclosure, this does mean that this project is a roll of the dice and may ultimately end up being voluntary work. Though when it comes time I will make every effort I can to secure the project to its utmost success.

The project follows a former scientific engineer and technologist, as he works to escape a prison of his own design that is infected by his past…

The narrative is framed similar to popular podcasts such as Welcome to Nightvale, and The Magnus Archives, however due to the layered narrative it branches into a traditional radio-play format beneath the TMA/WTNV similarity. Being comfortable with a more versatile writing style would be preferable for the narrative but is not a requirement.

***If chosen for the project*** as a writer you will work closely with me to create scenes that are suited to the narrative plan that i’ve curated. Ideally this would mean that I draft the scene, you write it, I edit and tweak it, and then we finalize it together.

I very much want to have a comfortable and engaging writing relationship for the betterment of the project in the long run. Open communication is very important to me, and I want it to be so for the writer that I onboard as well.

This project is being kept under wraps for now until I feel it is in a suitable place to begin promoting it. The conceptual work and title is protected under a CC license, and an NDA will be required to ensure the work itself is protected from potential liability, like being sold to a third party, or the concept being stolen and used for another work, etc. The NDA will be applied up until promotional materials begin, and again until the official release.
