Paradox Agent | Halo Reach Machinima Project
Project Overview
Halo Reach Machinima "Paradox Agent" is a Halo story. Set in a non-canon fictional universe where many previous events in the Halo Series never took place.
"In deep space, onboard the UNSC Vessel AVALON, Lauren Paige awakes from Cryo-Sleep. The war between Humanity and the Covenant is ongoing and a Mission to support the War Effort becomes vital. In the midst of her awakening, a distant echo whispers and an unforeseeable event occurs which will change the course of the future. Despite the journey ahead, her own future may already be written".
This project is set to be at least 20 Minutes (minimum) to 40 Minutes (Maximum) long.
This project is also looking for New and Fresh voices, however, anyone and everyone can apply.

ROLE - Lead / Main Character
CHARACTER - Lauren Paige is the main protagonist of the story, under the leadership of ONI Section One, she is tasked with the protection of Desmond Bishop, an intelligence officer of ONI.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Strong-willed, daring, and leaderly. Despite her entire history as a Spartan, indoctrinated into the program and used as an Asset for ONI, she makes up for it in her leadership skills over her Fireteam and expert weapons training. After gaining the attention of the Office of Naval Intelligence, she is recruited into a Special Operations Fireteam known as 'Whisper Company'.

"After the data your expedition team brought in, they identified a massive electrical surge between the Covenant Site and the Crater on the surface. Whatever it is, it isn't human". (Relaying information to multiple individuals, concerned about the unknown concept involving a discovery that's completely unfounded). (Projected Voice)
"Whisper Company, on me. Eliminate the targets so we can secure a landing zone for our Analysts". (Using an authorative tone, the character is leading a charge on the enemy site).
"Comms check, requesting clearance to investigate the Crater below. There is interference surrounding the structure we discovered". (Identifying the problem, you're more than happy to investigate but are still waiting for permission).
ROLE - Supporting/Lead
CHARACTER - Desmond Bishop, an Intelligence Officer from ONI Section One. He is the commanding officer of his own Fireteam tasked to protect him and his interests.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Authoritative, honest, and odd. Unlike his predecessors, his goals are indefinite and mysterious. Not much is known about him, except for his loyal years of service and commandment of special operations.

"Whisper Company, you are to operate within a limited visual range above the precipice. Stay clear of enemy sight lines, assess the nature of our situation and report back to me". (Leading an operation that needs to go smoothly)
"Never in my life that I would see such a beautiful sight. To think all my years of traveling, I'd finally get to see her. Home". (Talking about Earth like you've never seen your home planet before).
ROLE - Supporting/Antagonist
CHARACTER - Carver-047, a Spartan III under the leadership of Whisper Company, assigned by ONI Section One to protect Desmond Bishop and his interests.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Tough, Abrasive, and Cold. Alongside many of the Spartan IIIs, he was hard selected for duty as a supersoldier, however, the augmentations changed him into a cold, heartless but very proficient Spartan which became a concern for the higher-ups. Instead, he was recruited by ONI into a Special Operations Fireteam known as Whisper Company to eliminate high-value targets, making him the perfect contingent if something were to change.

"No, 'we' did this. Everything we're doing is for our survival, humanity's survival. Don't forget who's side you're on". (Someone being conflicted with your own belief's, you are trying to convince them you are right of what you and they have done).
"Move aside. I have to do everything myself around here". (Annoyed by the supposed incompetence of an individual).
ROLE - Supporting
CHARACTER - Huck-161, a Spartan III under the leadership of Whisper Company, assigned by ONI Section One to protect Desmond Bishop and his interests.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Principled, Empathetic, and Quiet. During the early years of the Human/Covenant War, he was stationed on the front lines in almost every battle, which gained recognition from the Higher-Ups. Despite the losses he suffered and defeats he faced, he was given an opportunity to join the Special Operations Fireteam 'Whisper Company' to eliminate high-value targets to give humanity a fighting chance.

"I see two stragglers making a run for it. I got it". (Noticing two enemies trying to retreat from a failed defense, confident in your ability, you are able to take them out).
"Don't make this harder than this needs to be, lower your gun and everything will be fine. I just want to help". (A conflict has ensued between a character and yourself, you are trying to defuse an almost impossible situation).
ROLE - Minor
CHARACTER - The pilot of Pelican Delta Four-Seven. He is Fireteam Whisper's personal dropship for special operations.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Capable, discreet, and disciplined. Prior to becoming a Lieutenant and the pilot of Delta Four-Seven, the Pilot's backstory is Classified.

"This is Pelican Delta Four-Seven, requesting permission to land in Hangar Bay 3, over". (Looking to dock inside one of the hangar bays aboard a UNSC Vessel).
"We've got heavy Covenant Turrets in the vicinity, the landing zone is too hot, I repeat, the landing zone is TOO HOT"! (Stressed in the moment and completely off-guard, the pilot needs to change course).
"Clear the landing zone for me, I don't want to get my wings clipped". (In preparation for landing, the pilot is protective of his Pelican).
ROLE - Minor
CHARACTER - The Communications Officer of the UNSC Ship, The Avalon. Maintaining direct control of all forms of communications between the relay onboard the vessel and ally ships.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Careful, Cooperative, and Sociable. The Communications Officer's backstory is classified due to working under the authority of ONI.

"To think this day would get any better, now we have Spartans onboard. Who knew, right"? (Surprised by the arrival of a Spartan Fireteam without being notified firsthand but not annoyed).
"This is the Comms Sector. Pelican Delta Four-Seven, you are now released and ready to depart". (After giving clearance to the Pilot to leave the Bay).
"Sir, we've got an incoming transmission from an unknown source. However the frequency's bandwidth is adjacent to ours". (Concerned because of the unlikely chance a connection to their communications would be in reach while they're in the middle of nowhere).
ROLE - Minor/Supporting
CHARACTER - The Captain of the UNSC Ship 'The Avalon' and its complementary ships.
BACKSTORY/PERSONALITY - Dedicated, Charismatic, and Farsighted. After many of the inner colonies fell during the War, Matthias sought to learn and understand the Covenant's Warfare Tactics through perceptive experience. Becoming Captain of his own Ship, took to many battles against the enemy. Now working for ONI, the Avalon and its crew are a part of something bigger.

"It's Captain Matthias Reeds, sir. I'd say it's a privilege to have you onboard but I suspect you already know the rumors". (Attending an open welcome to an important officer, however you are aware of rumors circulating around that individual).
"Let me make this clear, this is MY ship, not yours. If I say we're pulling out, WE. Are pulling out. No heroics, everyone lives, we fight another day". (Confident in your abilites but stubborn to your core, you are concerned about a dangerous situation and making a call).

"This is Group Beta Three, we've engaged with ground forces beneath the Crater, requesting immediate assistance, over". (After discovering the enemy position, you are in dire need of help but keeping your cool under high levels of stress).
