Emmett is the love interest of the main character Nesryn.
He works as a guard in the town of Sevalessa.
He comes off as a stoic loner, but he is a teddy bear when you get to know him though he would never admit it.
He took care of his little sister Xena from age 10-16 before she moved to live with one of their aunts. It isn't said directly why this is the case but the death of his parents is alluded to in the series.
"Do you mind telling me why I am here exactly?" (frustrated tone)
Leena only appears for an episode as of now. In the said episode, she is the Lord of Rockden (a nearby sea village). She comes to Sevalessa to request aid and help with fortification. During a cutscene, it is revealed that she has also come in hopes of bringing AnnMarie back to Rockden with her.
2 words to describe her are confident and charismatic.
Why would you want to live in a dinky little camp over your home?
Annmarie is the undying optimist of the group and the newest member of the village. She is a cartographer, a job she loves because it gives her an excuse to explore Laysa. On her latest excursion, she stumbled upon Sevalessa and decided to stay and help.
I was exploring the surrounding area of my village when I stumbled upon your, um… camp?
Hold on! You’re trying to tell me you call those three shacks and a house a village?
Oliver is one of the Dark One's commanders and is a little kill-happy. He has zero value for human life except for his own. He enjoys the chase almost as much as the final result.
"Don't move." (threatening/serious tone)
Janell is serious around people she doesn't know. Around the group, however, she is always making wise-cracks and smiling. Her accent comes from her birth village which she rarely talks about.
"I didn't think I would be back in Faywick so soon."
Ruin is the father figure of the village. He is always looking out for everyone even hiding things from them for their own good. He is the village blacksmith. However, it is mentioned he worked as a guard when he was younger.
Ness, I got word back from my contacts. (Grave)
Here, I have something for you. (Happy/Cheery)
