(NEED ANIMATOR/ARTISTS/VOICE ACTORS) What if Video Game Series on YOUTUBE
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This casting call is for new YouTube series that I want to implement on my Game Gush Gamer channel (click the link to view the channel). I want to do more than just play video games on the channel, so that brings me to the casting call. I want to combine our skills to produce a lot of different animation skits related to the video game world. I will do the master editing and production for the videos. I may even write most of the skits. What I seriously need help with are animators, secondary writers, and voice actors. It's hard being one person haha
Some ideas in mind for the animations are:
1. Comedic skits about Smite Gods on their days off
- A fly keeps bothering Neith on her day off. She uses her ultimate arrow to get rid of it but Chiron is hit instead
- Treasure hunting in the ocean with all the characters who have pirate skins
- Olympic Games Day
2. Video Game Fusion Series
- Forza Horizon + Dark Souls
- Devil May Cry + Splatoon
- SimCity + Resident Evil
3. Game Character vs Game Character Series
- Samus Aran vs Dante
- Solid Snake vs Doomguy
- Clementine vs Crypto (Destroy All Humans)
4. What If Gaming Series
- What if God of War was a Platformer (2D side scrolling adventure rather than 3D adventure)
- What if Game Characters were Marvel Heroes?
- What if John Marston (Red Dead Redemption) found an Apple of Eden (from Assassin's Creed)
Casting a variety of roles to be used throughout the animation series
- Animators
- Voice Actors
- Writers
All roles are in the English language.
No paid roles at the moment. Since this is a passion project, this is mainly a casting call to build your portfolio and grow your strengths. If the YouTube channel becomes big enough to be monetized, I will gladly pay for roles.
I will include credits in the YouTube description for the animated episode you worked on and provide a link to your portfolio or whatever page you desire.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is December 31, 2022. May be extended depending on episodes and castings. I'll notify who have been cast in roles and send invites to the casting call discord group. This project is pretty laid back though so don't feel pressured or anything. Just give it a shot!
WHAT TO EXPECT
My name is Jordan, Cookies, or GameGushGamer. I answer to all of them! At this point, you'll be part of our Game Gush Gamer family, which is just me lol
I will communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with the application, you can still audition, however, I strongly, strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors, animators, or writers.
WHAT I ASK OF YOU
- First and foremost, have fun!
- Please submit clean recordings (no background noise. Preferably minimal editing or noise reduction)
- Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is good but you can do more if you want.

Variety gamer who plays everything! Positive gamer seeking positive community. Video games are life. I formed Game Gush Gamer (www.gamegushgamer.com) as a blog website to gush about my favorite video games. I have now enhanced that mindset by playing games on my YouTube channel.

[twirling a sword] (obnoxious) "Whoa, look at you with your little arm cannon, thingy. I'm sure that's blown a couple hundred demon heads off.
(surprised and excited) Psh, what? No way, you are lying right now!

[A fly is buzzing around your ear] (nice but annoyed) Oh my gosh, you stupid fly. How did you even get in my room? I'm trying to mend a broken world. Oh. My God. I'm so sorry, little buddy, but you need to go!
[flexing in the mirror] (arrogant) Yeah, that's right. Who's the most powerful alien in the gym right now? Me, that's who. You see that shrimp over there though? She's one of those little shrimps. Ya know what we do to little shrimps? [momentary pause] (gleeful) Protect them, duh!
[checking out costumes at the halloween party] (flamboyant) Neith, totally loving your costume. Very chic. Did you add these spider legs all by yourself? Oh I see. Arachne is an actual spider and you still look better.

(panicked) Dude, I know we're on the last stage on the hardest difficulty, but I seriously need to use the bathroom. I guess they forgot to install a sewer system to the suit while I was frozen solid for 1,000 years. Chumps.
(sick and aggravated) I hate portals. Toss a coin to your witcher? How about a freaking airship, is that too much to ask for?
[inside a grocery store] (giggling) Bro, I have the best idea ever. You see that bald guy with the barcode on his head? We should scan it and see how much he's worth.

(jealous) Why do I always get stuck doing her dirty work? I fix her clothes, polish her shoes, repair the weapons. But no, no, she gets all the credit.
(curious) Uh, wait a minute. Is that a paint roller? How does it work? Wha—really? Can I try? Can I try? Pweeeease!
(aggressive) I haven't felt this good in a duel for a long, long time. What a thrill! Of course, for you, you only have one last chance to kill me now [give me your best maniacal laugh]
Assist in writing animated skits for gaming series on YouTube. Knowledge of video games is helpful. Knowledgeable about video game characters and weapons or at least how to research them are important.

Mirror the design of game characters but with enough personal flavor to call it your own. Be a team player. Work with animators, writers, and voice actors to understand the value of each design.
