Project Overview
This project does not and will not utilize any forms of AI. It is an entirely handcrafted project where everything is done manually, like the good old days.
After sixteen years or so I am looking to dive back into the world of Flash animation after leaving it behind me. Having done plenty of graphic work, pixel art, very occasional animating for fun and improving my overall creativity since then, I feel more confident than ever to bring something new to the field here at Newgrounds.
I am currently working on setting up a brand new sprite animation series based on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. I made this decision because of an old series I made years ago and released on Newgrounds. Looking back, I realized I can obviously do A LOT better now and that I have what it takes to make something somewhat memorable.
This animation series will serve as a direct sequel to A Link to the Past, and will feature many story elements from other Zelda titles, such as Ocarina of Time.
This project is in very early development and I am more than happy to share early and frequent updates on the process. I will keep you in the loop to the best of my ability.
For this project, I'm going to need a couple of male voice actors; or maybe just one for the time being that has a lot of range.
Requirements:
You must be 23+ years old
A good enough microphone, with VERY little to no static
You are open to come back for multiple episodes
This is an unpaid job
Please let me know if you can't provide any voice lines for whatever reason. This job is voluntary, I will never force you to hurry up as life comes first.
What I will offer you:
Frequent updates on the animation, as well as frequent previews.
A private Discord channel for us to discuss voice work in, as well as direct contact with other potential VA's.
I will listen to your suggestions and criticism regarding the animation/story/characters/voices

Link is the hero of Hyrule, or at least, he was.
This story follows Link after the events of A Link to the Past. His actions have shaped Hyrule the way it is today.
He's a young twenty year old man, who still has a surprising amount of energy in him, however, his past battles and adventures have taken a bit of a toll on him. Behind the energetic voice, a sadness and pain lingers in his voice. He cares for the people of Hyrule, but the person that means most to him is his uncle, who has been his legal guardian for a long time.

Alphon is Link's Uncle, from A Link to the Past. Despite being a loving man with a big heart, that always looks after Link and his friends, there's a certain mystery behind him.
Alphon is a former knight who served the Royal Family of Hyrule. His involvement with the family was cut short for unknown reasons, and it's a time period he prefers to not speak about.

An older man who has been the king of Hyrule for nearly his entire lifespan. A man who has seen, faced and conquered a lot of challenges.
He's very kind to his people, and is very wise; he may even have a few words of advice for the hero of Hyrule.
