Project Overview
UNDERTALE: The Anime - Voice Actor Casting Call.
Welcome! This project is a cinematic anime style film inspired by the video game Undertale. I myself am a BIG FAN of Undertale, and i kept seeing music adaptation of Undertale being a Anime OP. I wanted to turn that into a REAL, full film series.
I started a NEW ANIMATION Production studio, called Ren's Studio, we bring together passionate talents from all over the world to create and bring unique stories to life!
This adaptation is not a direct 1-1 copy of the original game, but a reinterpretation, with both elements of the pacifist and genocide routes.
About the Project:
This is a short-form animated series (episodes ranging from 3–5 minutes).
The story begins with Ep.1: “The Fall”.
The roles we have listed are roles including Episode 1 "The Fall" and Episode 2 "Ruins Arc".
What We're Looking For/How To audition:
This is going to be both a Japanese & English dubbed animation, however, this casting call is only for the ENGLISH VA's!:

About Ren’s Studios:
This project is one of the first official animation productions by Ren’s Studios, an independent animation studio focused on creating animations that you all would love to see.
By joining this project, you are becoming part of the early stage of a developing studio, helping shape its creative direction and identity.

We are NOT DIRECTLY linked to the holders of UNDERTALE and creator TOBY FOX, this is a Fan Video Game Animation/Anime Adaptation.
This project is listed as "Deferred" as we are planning to pay our voice actors and other studio team members for their hardwork when this studio gains more popularity and funding!

Voice Type & Tone: Low-energy, relaxed, slightly raspy or dry
Character description:A laid back, seemingly lazy skeleton… but there’s something deeper. In this version, Sans carries a subtle awareness and unease beneath his humor. His jokes feel natural but sometimes mistimed, like he’s testing people. Humor should feel effortless, not forced, Occasionally hint at something darker underneath.

Character description:Frisk is a quiet, observant child who speaks very little, but thinks deeply. In this version, they are not emotionless they are holding everything in. Their journey is confined by internal conflict, especially when forced to make difficult choices.

Voice Type & Tone: Bright and friendly into quickly shifting to cold, a bit psychotic and unsettling.
Character description:Flowey appears cheerful and welcoming—but this is a mask. Beneath it is something manipulative and cruel. In this version, the shift between tones should feel sharp and uncomfortable.

Character description:Toriel is kind, patient, and protective. But also deeply afraid of loss. In this version, her warmth is real, but so is her desperation. She is not just guiding Frisk, she is trying to keep them from a fate she already knows.
