Undertale Genocide: The Musical
Project Overview
After watching Man on the Internet's "Undertale the Musical", I was inspired to write my own version based on the genocide route of Undertale. And here we are, I'm looking for voice actors/actresses that would be very committed to this project, and if this goes well, be open to future projects all based around musicals of a similar sort. This project is most likely going to take 6-8 months to complete, as there are 32 songs in total and I'm hoping for weekly releases. The format of the videos is going to be a mix of gameplay footage and artwork, with lyrics on screen.
That's all I guess?

Casting Date
We're drawing close to the deadline on this project, and the response has been astounding. With almost 160 auditions, we're going to take a week to sort through them all, discuss which we like and cast each role. The cast announcement video will be published on April 7th, thank you to everyone who auditioned! -

Burgerpants' role has been reduced to just a speaking part, the lyrics I came up with for the song he was in just didn't cut it for me and I feel like what I want to use him for will have more of an effect with just speech. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Flowey is an innocent flower who just wants to help you and teach you about how things work in the Underground... right? Nope. Flowey is an evil, genocidal flower who wants to help the human erase the underground after thinking he realizes who it actually is. He is featured towards the beginning and end of the musical. and appears a little in the middle.

Maiden Melody
Toriel is an elderly, motherly goat who lives on her own in the Ruins. She tries to protect and care for the fallen human, but gets a nasty surprise when they try to leave the Ruins. She has a lot of significance towards the beginning of the musical, and is one of the main characters of the game and musical.

Sans is one half of the beloved skelebro duo. He comes off as a witty yet lazy jokester, however, on the genocide route, his true character is revealed. He's an extremely powerful being who can seemingly manipulate space and time, and he is the final boss of the genocide route. He is featured quite a bit in the later part of the first half of the musical, and has one huge song towards the end.

Papyrus is one half of the beloved skelebro duo. He is an eccentric, loud skeleton who sees the good in everyone, even if his desires are mostly selfish. His one goal is to capture a human and take them to the head of the royal guard, Undyne. Papyrus is mainly featured in the second part of the first half of the musical.
Baritone-tenor with a decent range desired.
"HALT, HUMAN! HEY, QUIT MOVING WHILE I'M TALKING TO YOU! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAVE SOME THINGS TO SAY! IT FEELS... LIKE YOUR LIFE IS GOING DOWN A DANGEROUS PATH. BUT WORRY NOT! I, PAPYRUS, WILL BE YOUR FRIEND AND TUTOR! ARE YOU OFFERING A HUG OF ACCEPTANCE? WOWIE, MY LESSONS ARE ALREADY PAYING OFF!"

Undyne is the brave, hot-headed head of the royal guard, her main desire is to kill a human and take their soul to Asgore, so he can destroy the barrier and free all the monsters. On the genocide route, Undyne's determination doesn't let her die, and she becomes a huge obstacle in the human's path to kill everyone. She is mainly featured in the middle of the musical.
Mezzo-Alto range desired,
"My body... it feels like it's about to scatter into a million pieces... but... deep down in my soul, there;s a burning feeling that WON'T let me die! Right now, everyone in the world... I can feel their hearts beating as one. Human. NO. Whatever you are! I, UNDYNE, will strike you down!"

Alphys is the shy, reclusive royal scientist of the underground. She is not normally seen on the genocide route, but in this musical... it seems she's feeling a little more... determined than usual. Featured mainly in the start of the second half of the musical.

"H...hey. So... you're the one who killed all my friends. I hate you. I just sat there... watching you. I felt so guilty knowing I couldn't do anything to stop you. God... I miss everyone. Now that they're gone, it... it feels so clear what I should have done, what I should have said. I should have killed you when I had the chance."

Mettaton is the narcissistic, FABULOUS star of the underground. He's a robot created by Alphys, who's sole desire is to entertain. However, as any true fan would know, he was originally created as a Human Eradication Robot... and some features were not fully removed. Featured mainly at the start of the second half of the musical.

"My my. So you've finally arrived. You're not just a threat to monsters, but humans too. Oh my, that's an issue. You see, I can't be a star without an audience and besides... there are some people that I want to protect."
