Monster Kid is a kid who's a monster who also loves Undyne. VERY MUCH. This is the smallest role in the musical as it is only a speaking part.
"Yo, Undyne told me to stay away from you. She said you... hurt a lot of people... But, yo, that's not true, right? Wh...wh...what's with that weird expression...?"
The tone is nasally, but Monster Kid isn’t really a straight character like Frisk, they’re slightly comedic, so we think it works here. It grabs at the attention. With the “yo”, it’s really got to flow with the lines. We like the laugh at the end, the stutter is pulled off well. There’s a lot of good expression here, but there could always be more. Thanks for auditioning!
