Under the oak tree WEBTOON fundub: Chapter 1-3
Project Overview
Hello all fans of Under the Oak Tree!
I'm super excited to finally begin works on this particular project of non-profit fundub of our beloved UtOT webtoon! Anyone not familiar with it please check out this link https://manta.net/en/series/under-the-oak-tree?seriesId=1255
Currently looking for voice cast for chapter 1 - 3 with emphasis on any recurring characters currently listed. Keep in mind that some other long term characters will also be introduced in these chapters.
ONLY APPLY IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN COMMIT TO THE LARGE AMMOUNT OF TIME THIS IS GOING TO TAKE
Requirements:
Be 18+ due to some heavy topics in the story
Have a good audio setup, preferably XLR microphone
Be good with turnover of lines (especially for main cast!)
Have a discord account for communication
Any level of voice acting experience is fine as long as you can be professional enough with meeting deadlines.
More roles will be added over time. This project will be added on youtube as a shorts series, NSFW scenes will be less detailed than in the actual comic to make it youtube safe.

Maxi is the female protagonist of Under the Oak Tree. A noble born and the eldest daughter of Croyso family. She is 22 years old at the beginning of the story
Personality and key features:
- She has a stutter so you need to be able to perform it well
- She is extremely shy and easily gets startled
- Very kind and timid.
- *SPOLIER* She experienced a lot of abuse as a child, please consider that when applying for the role
Maxi needs to sound soft, small or even brittle but also warm. She is a highly intelligent person who, once given a chance, will pour her heart into anything she can do for others.
Side note: Some scenes portray her childhood (not many) so we might ask you to record a child sounding lines.

Riftan is male protagonist of Under the Oak Tree, commander of Knights of Remdragon and the lord of Anatol. At the beginning of the story he is 28 years old.
Personality & key features:
- People often feel intimidated by his cold gaze and towering presence
- When with Maxi he softens significantly and is able to show very deep romantic emotions toward her
- Blunt, hot-tempered but also extremely carrying in his own way
We are looking for someone who is able to portray great passion be it on battlefield or towards a significant other. Riftan should sound commanding and direct but not brutish and mindless.

Haberon is the vice-commander of the Remdragon Knights and one of the older knights in the group.
He is cunning, friendly and a bit playful, womanizer and a big drinker.
We are open to his voice, just take his personality into account.

Uslin is a knight of the Remdragon Kinghts, 3rd in command.
He is not easy to trust, calculating and cold at first but deeply carrying for his companions.
We are open to interpretations on his voice but keep in mind he is a noble born and a high ranking knight so his voice should be strong to reflect that.

Ruth is a high-ranking wizard and only fully trained healer of Knights of Remdragon.
He is being described as crude and rash but also honest and truly committed to his companions.
His appearance in the show is very frequent so we need someone that is able to commit to this.

Duke Croyso is father of Maximilian Calypse and a man that rules his family and servants with iron fist and fear. He is an unlikeable man who favours his youngest daughter, Rosetta over Maxi whom he choses to beat for having a timid personality and extreme stutter.
He only appears at the beginning of the story and rare call-backs.
