Twilight's Night After Santa Hooves MLP Fanfic Reading (Christmas Special 2020)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! Agent Fluffy here! Happiness, joy and Christmas cheer is near! I’m going to do something special for the holidays! I’m going to do a reading of a poem version of this fanfic called Twilight’s Night After Santa Hooves written by GWFan. It’s about Twilight’s friends believing in Santa Hooves and Twilight doing her best to prove he doesn’t exist.
By the way, this is an unpaid project.
There are some roles available but first, let’s go over the qualifications and rules before sharing what VA roles I need.
The casting call will close November 13th (11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time)
Due Dates for Lines (if you are chosen): December 6th, 2020 (9:00 PM EST)
Please submit auditions ONLY if you know that if you are chosen you will need to meet this due date.

Below are the qualifications and rules of the casting call for VAs:
Qualifications:
VAs:
1. You must be 17 years old or older to audition for this project. By submitting your audition to this project you are validating that you have met the age requirement.
2. You must have a decent or good quality microphone. (It doesn't have to be professional studio quality.)
3. I'm also looking for your ability to act as the character(s) you are auditioning for. The voice does not have to be show accurate. Your ability to act the character is most important to me.
4. I'm looking for committed, accountable and reliable VAs that will:
Review the scheduled due dates and submit your audition(s) ONLY if you can meet the scheduled due dates.
Once you have been accepted as part of the team, accountability includes:
Checking in once a week with your status on assignments.
Immediately informing me if you need help or something has happened to change your availability that would put your due dates at risk. This would enable us to work together on a resolution PRIOR to due dates.
Rules:
VAs:
1. Leave three (3) seconds of silence at the start of your audition recording before you say the audition lines of each of the character(s) you are auditioning for. This enables me to listen to your background noise and if needed to determine how much background noise I’ll need to remove during your recording.
2. You must have multiple takes in your audition so I can hear your emotional range of your voice. Three (3) takes is required.
3. I require your audition file(s) to be in either wav, mp3, or m4a format for audio (mp4 or wmv for YouTube auditions).
4. Send your completed audition lines to Agent0Fluffy @gmail.com (No spaces) or the Casting Call Club website, under my casting call page.
If you are sending your auditions through email, PLEASE label your audition files as such:

Process
Casting Call: Details of call are in sections noted above.
Casting Call Results: A casting call results video will be released on November 14th (sometime before 11:59 PM EST). At the time of the results, if you are selected I will immediately need the following from you. Please send this information to my email Agent0Fluffy @gmail.com (No spaces) to keep in contact and to turn in VA lines:
Either your email, Skype or Discord
Work: VAs create lines and turn in on or prior to due dates.
Staying in Contact: Weekly touch base on your status. This could be a quick chat, email and/or message.
Production: Once all lines are submitted, I will edit / produce the video.
Release: This fanfic reading will be uploaded on YouTube once it's finished.

Sometimes she gets sad and gets over the top with her emotions.

(jokingly) That’s a good one, Twilight. Too old to believe? I almost thought you were serious. I almost heaved.
(grievous) I know you had a bad experience as a filly, but we all know Santa is real, you silly. We’re your friends, so why don’t you believe us?
Twilight is a genius in magic, a bookworm, dorky and nerdy. She is the element of magic. She is a smart planner and a leader.
In this story, Twilight tries to prove to her friends that Santa Hooves does not exist.
Vocal Range: Medium High
*giggle* (reminiscing) This is so nostalgic, I must admit. It reminds me of the excitement I would achieve, when turning in early on Hearth’s Warming Eve.
*laugh at Pinkie jokingly* (joking) Oh come on Pinkie Pie. First, it was trick or treat. And now Santa Hooves too? You don’t miss a beat. Believing in Santa Hooves is one thing I’m sure, for which you are far too old and mature. *laugh in delight then slowly move to a light chuckle*
(argue) That’s because nopony could do that in a single night. Equestria’s too big. It defies science, all right?
Applejack is a hard working earth pony from Sweet Apple Acres. She is the element of honesty. She is a country pony.
She speaks in a southern accent. She is headstrong.
Vocal Range: Medium
(warmly) Not for too much longer, I think, though I thank ya for the spread. Some certain fillies I know need to go to bed.
(argue) Magic keeps him alive, Twi, as sure as can be. That’s what the legends say. Ya’ll can trust me.
(explaining) Canterlot castle is a big ol’ place. They must set the presents out just in case. I bet it’s almost impossible for everypony to be sleeping. When Santa Hooves comes to call, nopony can be creeping.
Apple Bloom is an earth pony. She is Applejack's sister. She speaks in a high pitched southern accent.
She is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Vocal Range: High
(negotiating) Can’t we stay up for a while instead? It’s way too early to go to bed.
(encore in poor diction) And my loopty-hoop!
Scootaloo has a rasp in her voice. She is strong willed and is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
She is energetic and has a tomboy personality.
Vocal Range: High
(confident) That’s right! It’s not too late yet. We won’t get tired, I’m willing to bet.
(shout with conviction) And I want my new Scooter!
Rarity is the element of generosity. She is a unicorn. She speaks in a mid-atlantic accent.
She is proper, loves fashion and is very formal.
Vocal Range: Medium High
(pleasant) If you don’t go to bed, Santa Hooves won’t leave any presents.
(advising) Then you better get going and make not a peep. Santa won’t come if you are not asleep.
(with grace and finality) You don’t have an answer, therefore you can’t say. You cannot deny our claim this day.
Sweetie Belle is Rarity's sister. She is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. She is kindhearted and innocent.
Vocal Range: High
(devastated) No presents? Oh no!
(happy) I’ll go to bed. I want those crayons of oh so colorful art.
Spike is a baby dragon who helps Twilight out with her tasks and her number one assistant. He is occasionally sarcastic. Females can also audition for this role as well as males.
Vocal range: Medium High
*yawn* (tired) I guess. I wouldn’t want to miss out on presents either.
(tired/dismissive) Just make sure we don’t get a repeat of your birthday.
Fluttershy is a pegasus. She's the element of kindness. She is kind, soft spoken and shy.
She is caring for her friends and her animals.
Vocal Range: High
*gasp* (surprised) You mean you don’t?
(curious squealing) What makes you think he’s not real?
(very quietly) Besides, he probably uses his magic to make the reindeer fly. Even you know that’s possible. You put Rarity in the sky.
Rainbow Dash is a brash Pegasus and is part of the Wonderbolts. She is very athletic. She is the element of loyalty.
Vocal Range: Medium-High
(protest with very strong zeal) What!? That’s impossible. Of course he’s real!
(protest) He’s the only one who might be as cool as me. Especially delivering toys to every good pony. Who else do you know that can make such a zip, to fly all over Equestria in one single trip? Even I couldn’t do that and I’m quite awesome. Santa’s not a slouch like an old retired possum.
(protest) Have you ever read one that says they can’t?
Mrs. Cake is one of the owners of Sugarcube Corner. She has a motherly voice and a Canadian accent.
Vocal Range: Medium
(aloof) Of course Santa is real.
(confused) I don’t know what you’re talking about. Why is it that in Santa you have such doubt?
Princess Celestia is the Princess of the Sun. She is graceful, poised, regal and refined. She’s a mentor to Twilight Sparkle.
She is silly sometimes and mischievous.
Vocal Range: Medium- Low
(very sad and slow) You mean you didn’t know?
(concerned) My goodness, Twilight. You look all affright. Is something wrong? Are you all right?
(confident) Of course. I always come prepared for any such trial.
